Morning All, we're still snowed in.. Walked up to the shop last night and managed to get a brown loaf but not much else (the shelves were bare). Had to turn the heating up, only to find step-son had opened his window! I wasn't pleased to say the least. LT our double glazing is relatively new but quite poor so ask to speak to former customers as well see what they think of the product.

makeup, wow to not putting the heating on yet!

Pippi - tell us how the chickens are :j

Um everyone so far is a bit wary (new ones - 3 cockerals - 3 hens - brown like my ones too but the new ones can be easily seen as they also have black bums) - they are sticking to their same groups. We'll see how the day goes on - 5 eggs today - so we'll see if the new arrivals disturb my girls and their laying.

One child at school - one at home - no school transport - eldest went in with a neighbour with a 4x4

£2.47 quidco - well it all helps.

Work head down today - mouse bites and then cuppa then into the fray.

    L - poor you.

We are OK for food/milk etc but we'll have to get out soon.

Oh good grief lucille! Can you get out to the shops or anything?? Quite bad here, but we're in easy walking distance of pretty much everything we need (not work, of course, but that's only 2 days a week and can be done from home). Hope you get out soon, I'm guessing you're bored of hot water bottles and hot chocolate and snowmen....?!

Hooray for stripey chickens! :T :T Work head on for me too today Pippi - mouse bites here - although they'll have to be rather large mouse gulps! :rotfl: Going to get out later for a snowy walk :D But want to do some writing first...

Have home made soup bubbling away on the stove....yum. Lots of leftover veggies, chucked in a pot. Cheap, filling and very tasty.

hope chickens are settling in Pippi.

snow is melting here. DD is off nursery though and is playing by herself nicely. this is quite a big thing here as she has struggled to play without one of us there since we moved.

she has just come out of her bedroom very pleased with herself as she has dressed herself. a brown skirt and a purple t shirt. she says it's her work clothes like daddy (i must add DH does not go to work in a skirt!!)
