Bah Pippi! Bleurgh to not feeling good enough
You're right though, they won't let you out til you've done it - that's all that keeps me going some days :rotfl:
(just texted you having a mini crisis with broken internet, then it came back on almost immediately - are you some kind of internet fairy wizard??!)
Don't go driving in too dangerous conditions - don't want you spinning off into the sea!
Still writing here <yawn> Still, veggies and lentils and mash on for tea - and just stupidly rummaged in the cupboards and realised we've got no gravy! No gravy!!!! Aha - I see yet again you have come to the rescue with a recipe for home made gravy :rotfl: (got no stock cubes though so will have to improvise with soy sauce and spices) Thanks xx
off to read rest of your text... got to love modern communications :rotfl:0 -
*Waves to Pippi and everyone*
Glad to have you back m'dear - as others have said, you were certainly missed!
LT window thing is definately worth doing I would have thought - it's a matter of time before the draughts, and the damp, start affecting your health and the health of your home as well, getting the windows done will enable you to get the fabric of the place warmed through which will be generaly good for both you and the building.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Sorry you are feeling a bit bleugh about the studying. I went to night school in my 30's to get extra qualifications for work (having left school with not a lot) and can understand where you are coming from. But you really ARE good enough, you CAN do this. You KNOW your subject and in time you WILL get it across in the way you want to.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

morning all, we're still snowed in. I need provisions but the closest shop is little more than a paper shop and the next nearest shop is about 30 minutes walk. Humfing messages in the snow does not seem like a good pastime to me. Depressed, it just keeps snowing.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Oh dear unixgirl! Do you have a rucksack? Might make it easier! And can you survive on what they have in the post office?
Must get out for some provisions myself later, need milk at least (and an advent calendar :rotfl:) Fortunately I have several shops within about 15 minutes in all different directions, so I'm assuming at least one of them will be selling milk.. no idea what I'll do if not, doesn't bear thinking about!
Hope you're not snowed in Pippi and the chickens are coping!0
