I'd love to keep chickens but we just don't have enough back garden for them.
I've been super busy at work, done over 29hrs there in 3 days which isn't bad i guess for someone suposed to do 37hrs per week. Shame i don't get paid overtime.0 -

I'd love to - I miss our old allotment with it's lovely easy to dig soil!Pippilongstocking wrote: »Eh sounds like you've done a lot! Not that much really Pips, when I say this is a pocket handkerchief sized bit of ground, I'm really NOT joking - it's tiny! OH is right, not everything likes very rich soil - wise man!

You don't need a lot of garden for chickens, in fact according to current government guidlines you can keep 19 chickens in 1 square metre of ground space (obviously they'd have to be very skinny chickens).Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Lt I hope you work less hours today xx
Moo2moo your comment made me snigger - that's some mighty skinny chickens. do you think the government was thinking they enjoy a good game of twister? They might all fit in that way! (and have fun)
Weathers worse here - most of house didn't sleep - early nights tonight me thinks xx
Lurgy hanging around hoping it will go asap!
Money - dangling by a skinny mini thread 2nd month no pay. Waiting for th extra bits to come in - freezer is bulging so we'll not starve!
Hope you all have lovely day xTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I'm definitely in favour of you not starving, Pippi - and I was sniggering too at the thought of 19 chickens playing a game of Twister
I'd like to see that

Hi All, things at work good at home awful. Fed up with the whole situation. To top it all one of my parents dog's passed away a few days ago from a stroke. Lovely wee thing she was. Feeling quite emotional and want my own space at home yet not getting it. Hence hardly written. Hope everyone's ok. I've re-done my snowball and its 41 months till I'm debt free (sooner if I got rid of my problem), so looking at seeing how i can reduce this. Got rid of Sky. So no bills from them as of next month. So thats an extra £20 to the pot.
Sorry for the rant, glad everything seems ok for everyone. Keep up the chat, good to know I can get a smile on here.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
(((hugs))) Unixgirl, poor you and poor doggie.
I'm feeling bleugh today, got a cold and totm, and whilst I am seeing MrA this afternoon to go to the cinema, I was hoping he'd be over earlier in the day as I'm working from home and then we'd go to the cinema, but he's not feeling great so has asked that I just pick him up later - I should take heart from the fact that I offered for him to postpone and he said no, he'll be fine by this afternoon, but I'm feeling deflated, selfish mare that I am! Not like we haven't seen each other Monday and Tuesday already and it is only Thursday.......I'm so childish!!
I love the sound of chickens playing Twister! Put a smile on my face0
