    Morning all
Pippi I hope you are feeling better today.
It's seriously cold out there again but I can still see a bit of a change in things in the garden.
Next project is to get another water butt and connect it to the existing one so I can keep more stored especially if I'm going to grow more things in pots. I was a bit obssessed with water butts last year but my water bill has gone down by £8 p.m. so it's worth it.
Have a good day and I'll be back later

Morning Pippi, hope you are improving and that time on the sofa is helping.
Loved the chicken post over the other side, made me laugh so much. Luckily I had just put my cuppa down before I read it. And your 10 things about you was very inspiring, thanks Not sure if you have seen the offer on the boards for free potato kits. I just ordered one. Just paid £4.50 p&p Will pop back with the link in a bit.
Decided to set myself a 100 day challenge to have at least the shed up and some veggies planted in the garden. Mouse bites and all that. Now any idea how to convince Mr C that it doesnt have to all be done at great expense, top notch top of the range stuff and can be much more fun doing it the way I am suggesting?

Get well soon Pippi, hope it's not too cold up there, it's sunny and flipping freezing down here, and with a slight hangover and PMT, it's not a great combo......!! At least I have tomorrow and the prospect of meeting MrA for coffee when we're both in London to keep a smile on my face :) Shame I have to get up at the crack of dawn and go up there for a dull meeting, but I suppose there has to be a flipside to the loveliness!

Cheri, yes thank-you I found him and he is indeed cute and very lovely. I think the expression he has makes him cute :D

I have the same shyness problem which people don't believe but try to see that as positive as it means I can get over it when I have to...they always say half the battle is faking it (or something like that!) :D

Pippi hope you feel better today and have rested a bit :)

This has hit you hard, sweetie ((((((((Pippi))))))))))))

Don't worry about taking stuff in - just look after yourself; hope you're watching something mindless, or listening to something soothing.

You poor thing! :( Glad you got a bit of a walk, a little fresh air might do you good. Glad you're hibernating again though! xx

glad you got some fresh air, hope you feel better soon.
I'm another one who spends a lot of time on here for the friendship element. I made a lot of friends though another site a few years ago which lead me to meeting OH but in real life i have very few close friends. I'm lucky that my sister and parents live close but i don't see a lot of them as we are all so busy and they have their lives.
  • Hi Pippi,

So sorry to hear that you are a wee poorly lass . Take good care of yourself ,hun.

Can I also join the lonely & shy club ??

    Much Love
