Pah, hope you get it sorted Pippi (and the teeth!)

And bleurgh to pesky cats! :o Don't mind when they're tiny playful kittens, it's when they grow up and start eating all the birds in the garden I don't like them! :)

Good luck at the dentists. Would be good to save the tooth if possible.
I like cats but I dont like that they kill birds. Still that is nature I suppose. Sure if you got a kitten then it should be ok with peedie and chickens but I would be like you and thinking twice.

Oh no, I missed out on the tea /chocolate jaffa cakes etc. Never mind, good to hear everyone having a virtual get together.
Lemon Tree, you are on my lambs lugs list. Was it Karmacat who wanted some too?
I'm hoping ALDI get some more cheap fruit canes in soon. My Tayberry looks lonely!
Good luck with the tooth Pippi and the writing.
It's still freezing and foggy. Birds still like a row of Vultures in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!.
I aim to get a couple of hours watching Lewis or whatever and do some more of the rug. The bad weather has given me an excuse.

Ultra positive vibes going your way for the dentist Pippi. As for yours Cheery, having to wait so long to get it fixed is crazy isn't it?

Very jealous of the raspberries. One of the things I miss from the allotment is the soft fruit - our neighbour had a loganberry which was half on our side and we were allowed to take off the fruit over on our bit...mmmm! We also had a fantastic blackcurrant bush with the biggest sweetest and juiciest currants I've ever tasted.

Picked up two good sized bags of Bramleys on the reduced counter at Tesco this morning - 31p a bag so I think we might have to have crumble tomorrow!

I think if I'd have said I was in pain, or been more persistent, they'd have fitted me in more quickly... BUt right now I'm not in pain, and could very much do with waiting until silly phd is in, because I don't have the headspace to fit a trip to the dentist in, I know it would only take half an hour, but my brain is far too full for anything else other than work and writing right now!

    Mmmm, crumble :D

That's a sensible way of looking at it, the distraction of the dentist really isn't what you need right now, is it. How much longer now on the Phd?

Er, today and tomorrow EH, with any luck :D

Well, then I'll send conclusions to supervisors, who will hopefully have a quick whizz through and say they're fine. I'll make any changes they suggest on Tuesday evening, then I'll shut my eyes, take a deep breath, and forward to the examiner

Then I just have to wait and see if he suggests any more changes he'd like to see before I submit properly. Hopefully not, and that'll be the end of it, and if that's the case I should have it all printed and bound and submitted before next weekend. If he wants a few things changed, I'll spend every evening doing them as soon as I know what they are. I'm hoping he'll let me know asap, so I can get them done next weekend, and submit before the beginning of Feb.

That's the plan anyway. Right now I'm just stopping for a cuppa :D

Hope the dentist was ok Pippi. Lovely raspberries. I have only just decided that I like raspberries this year. And then only because one of my staff works in an office where there are loads of bushes by the car park and I had to walk past them to get to the office so I wasnt going to be rude and ignore them.

Cheery - exciting. How long before we have to call you Dr then and when Pippi gets hers signed off we will have 2 Drs in the House - walks away now before I start quoting carry on films :silenced:
