i could lend you my cats but i'm not sure that they'd be too much use. Now my old boys would catch anything which moved.0

Yuk, hope you've got rid of the wee beastie
Now, did someone mention chocolate?? I've been attempting to study for about an hour, think I need a break.....0 -
Is it a rat, mouse or siberian hamster (a la Manuel :rotfl:)
Not good at those sort of beasties and I would be packing my knapsack and heading for someone safer until I was sure it had been eradicated.
I once moved to my sister's until the mouse that ate the easter egg stash in my wardrobe had been exterminated  The flippin thin may be after DD's chocolate stash!

Watch out Pippi, didnt Kittikins say she had a rat in her compost the other week, has she been sending them on holiday?
Actually somebody once told me that mice like chocolate and I did have mice once and used to chocolate to entice them into my homemade humane mouse trap. Tilted bathroom bin greased inside and a bit of chocolate at the bottom. They get in easily but cant climb out because of the grease. Then you have to take them more than a mile away from the house so that they dont return. I am sure I have told my mouse taxi service here before. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. I could lend her mine but it would take one look at Peedie and Pippi'd then spend the next half an hour trying to remove the cat from the top of the curtains.I have personal experience (and a scar) to prove that introducing HRH The Cat to anything of a canine persuasion that she's not known since it was smaller than her is a bad plan!
I've been eating chocolate all night so better not eat any more.

I'd have mixed feelings about a cat cos of the hens - in the last house they were both killed by the cat next door - I wondered if we got an outdoor cat from a kitten it might get use to them?
Just not sure cats, terriers and chickens work . But our old cat mrs norris kept pee die in check and didn't bat eyelid at chooks, who knows.....Ooo yes please, I love minstrels, Cheery where's the stash.
Come along Pippi we are waiting to hear all about the chickens and the supervisors. Hope its not too cold there.
Meeting was ok - bit confrontational in places but constructive. Thank you for asking:)
Chickens are grand didn't see the much yesterday - the wind was terrible. When it's like that they often don't come out much - they are very svelte chokes and might fly away. :rotfl:
