Writing vibes from me too :T :T I'm working all day, phding all evening, so I feel your pain...

:rotfl: at silly hens :rotfl: And cheery Peedie, we think about him often, and if we ever do get a dog, it'll be YOUR fault :rotfl: :rotfl:

(ooooooooooh, conversation turned to moving to Orkney last night :D Sadly, if it ever DOES happen (which I imagine it won't), it'll be in about 3 or 4 years - when I think you will have left :( Pah!) Still, lots of unlikely things have been talked about this week :D I think there's a mischievous attempt to try to distract me from panicking about PhD! :D

(((((((toothypeg))))))) MUST ring dentist myself today :o Someone yell at me if I haven't done it later please!

Hurrah - someone else dreaming of moving to an Island! :T

Well done to KK for sharing local knowledge, and to KC for acting on it so swiftly. Greenval at first when you talked about your cllapsed arch I thought feet, then you continued with having it removed and I thought :eek: then remembered your gales/garden issues! :rotfl:

Stripes - will send you some nice positive vibes on Saturday for the toothy thing - Lovely Mr Stripes being on handholding duty! :A

I thought of feet with the collapsed arch thing too EH :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know I won't really get shouted at at the dentist :o I just had one dentist who used to tell me off, and he put me off for life :o BUt current one is perfectly reasonable, so no reason why I'm scared!

Anyway, I evidently didn't plead enough on the phone - couldn't get an appointment until 4th Feb!

    Loving the chicken antics Pippi.

Cheery it would be lovely to move to Orkney but I suspect you are right on the diversionary tactics. Mr Daffs sounds very thoughtful.

Hope the tooth extraction goes ok on the weekend Pipp. Sorry to hear about the feedback, some supervisors dont know when to stop tinkering I fear.

Had a thought today Pippi - do all your supervisors comment on their own version of the same document? I wonder whether it might be helpful for you, and instructive for them, for them to comment on the *same* version, one after the other??

My supervisors rarely do this because one of them thinks the other ones comments will put them off :D They also tend to notice entirely different things. When they have commented on the same version though, they kind of bounce off each others comments, and you get a much more readable version.

If they don't, I wonder whether it might be worth suggesting it? Then they could see where they're all at odds, and it might be better than you spending agonising days trying to unravel the different comments and wondering which ones to prioritise!

    What do you think?xx
  • Cheery I've tried :)
Another meeting tomorrow I'm going to suggest it :)

    Thank you x

Perhaps just tell them - I'm going to send it to (supervisor A) first, and you can forward it to (supervisor B) after that, and then he can forward to (supervisor C). I struggle to integrate all of your comments when they are sometimes so contradictory, and I'd like you each to see what the other is saying, so we can find a way of working together here

do you think you're going to have to give your chucks lessons in how to get home, and what time their curfew is?

KC glad you've got a NHS dentist so quickly and easily, they're not always easy to find.

Good luck with the meeting Pippi.
Cheery why are you feeling sorry for yourself. You are cheering everybody else up over on MGs thread - hope you are not soaking up everybody elses negativity and not looking after yourself
