Psychics/ Mediums

My ex used to be able to guess the zener cards correctly, 100%, I found it fascinating as she never once guessed them incorrectly. I used to test her regularly to catch her out, as I could never guess them.

I am not sure its anything psychic she had, She was no psychic or clairvoyant, as we started this as just a game, (teenagers huh). However as much as I doubt psychic abilities, I can categorically state that out of the hundreds of times we played this game, she never once got them wrong, 100% of the time I found to be more than coincidence, but cannot explain how she could do it.

Let's face it, no-one goes to see a medium/psychic if they are happily married to a wonderful partner, enjoy their job, have plenty of money and a healthy (i.e. alive) family, do they?

My friend went to see a medium who told her that her "soul mate" would be a man with a "lived-in face"
Maybe that's why she's been hitting on my husband for the last ten years!

I think it really depends on the reason why you've gone to see a medium.
If its to know the future then forget it, its ridiculous to think that someone can predict the future.
If its to find comfort after losing someone, I think its ok if it helps you during such a difficult time.
It must be very comforting to hear a medium can tell you things about someone who has passed and that they are hopefully at peace.
I do believe in mediums but I also think that genuine ones are greatly outnumbered by frauds.
Having said that, Ive never been to one and have no desire to!

if people do manage to find some comfort during a difficult time then i'm inclined not to pass judgement.

I thought this too, as I do wear glasses, but ruled it out by NOT wearing them (so she couldnt cheat)

I knew that because I saw you on telly :rotfl:

If MY ex had've been psychic he would've known I wasn't cheating on him like he thought and we might not have split up;)

(Note to pedants - THAT ^ is the correct spelling of had've and would've as they are abbreviations for 'had have' and 'would have';))

I'm glad there are so many sceptics out there as my boyfriend and I bumped into a gypsy in Blackpool on Friday and she tried to sell me a some heather and read my fortune but my boyfriend told her no thanks. She turned and looked at him with black eyes and said "It's not lucky to refuse"

I was panicking as my Mum had always told me never to refuse a gypsy, but my bpyfriend said it was all a load of rubbish, and then the next shop we went in he dropped a mug:rotfl:I think that even he was a bit spooked then!

Lol, that reminds me of a time one of these "psychic" Gypsies approached me and my Sister, proclaiming we will have an everlasting marriage together with 2 wonderful children that we will be proud of.
