  • Im NOT a cat person ( allergies mainly ) but how someone could have a living being and treat it this way is beyond belief! and im Guessing that the problem with him being neutered is that they hoped to breed from him ?? god what what have happened to the kittens ! horrified

Well done! It's just a pity that more people aren't as kind as you towards animals.

Just a note about his aggressiveness. Our rescue charity has picked up cats before who seemed extremely aggressive, but once in a foster home, they turned out to be friendly and loving. The trauma of feeling trapped and taken to the vet's, especially by people they don't know, can make them behave that way. So he may turn out to make someone a good companion when he's rehomed, or at least not be so bad-tempered.

His owners sound appalling. Imagine leaving him out all week in this freezing weather, then letting him in only on a weekend, not having his injuries treated by a vet - and thinking he's worthless because he's neutered now. I'm thinking that they should be neutered, too! They're certainly not fit to have pets, so goodness knows what they'd be like with children.

Unfortunately, these are the kind of people who will probably pick up a poor kitten somewhere and do the same again.

In any case, thank you so much for all you have done for that boy. With any luck, his Christmas should be a whole lot better because of your kind intervention. :T
