Thank you for the encouragement dirtyepic. Percentage paid is def the way to go for me too.

Horrible day here wet and windy. Got paid yesterday which I wasn't expecting but I forgot about the bank holiday. Now I know exactly how much I was paid I can tweak my June budget with actual figures. Hopefully I can make a decent payment to something this evening

2 days off now. must not get complacent (sp?) though.

i need to fill in and email my timesheet to work. that must be done today or I risk not getting paid at the end of the month. also got a letter I need to post to work (head office)

today I am off having an adventure. I am going to DH's work this afternoon to get some practice with my camera. He works at a white water centre and has asked me to take some pictures of him on the water. I have been on the internet this morning to get some tips on how to shoot white water and I hope that I will get at least one or two decent shots for him. finger's crossed though cos I'm very much a point and shoot person. I don't usually think about what I'm taking pictures of so this will be a challenge.

    wish me luck

took quite a lot of photos this afternoon. some are rubbish but others are okay. some are a bit dark so I need to learn a bit more about using light in the shots i think. not bad for a first attempt at white water though.

paid £150 off mint today. that leaves a balance of only £278.27 on that card as we BT the rest to a 0% deal. mint has to go though as it has a very high interest rate and the minimum only ever pays off the interest so the balance never got any lower. that's why we BT'd most of the balance. shame we couldn't do all of it but never mind. not much more left on there now.

37.6% of total debt paid off now so that is really good. will be great to make 40%. hopefully with a bit of a push we can make that by the end of the month. does that sound like a challenge?? that should pay off the mint card so maybe it should be a challenge. hmmmmmmmmmm

Well done on the photos, practice defnitely does make perfect with photos. I've done lots of wildlife ones which are a pain cause animals move when you don't want them too! Imagine white water is very tricky.

Like the sound of having a mint challenge! :D

don't fancy photographing animals. I tried to catch a seagull at the beach the other day and he flew off just as I got close enough. I suppose I could try DD's tortoise. Surely he can't run very far :D

That's the only thing I'm really good at ;) or should that be :o ?

Thanks for popping by CMD. Hope you are keeping well.

Got 2 days off work now. Finally posted my letter telling them when I want my mat leave to start. Well more like when I can financially afford for my mat leave to start. I would finish tomorrow and be a SAHM if we could afford it. I had a lot of time off after having DD and loved it (even though I did suffer PND) I liked it being the 2 of us while DH was at work. I would love to have more time at home on the next one. Need a plan i think.

    OK....................Plan

    1. Pay off debts ongoing. Hopefully all paid off by December
    2. Savings got enough to cover the drop in pay for the duration of my mat leave but nothing else

Need to think this through a bit more I think
