Definitely don't give up. You are doing such a good job and looks like you will clear it by the end of the year.

I'm at a real standstill with mine at the moment, but we are trying to sell our flat, so have expenses behind the scenes that are preventing me from making any big payments. I am plugging away though, because I will get there in the end!

Hi LT. Thanks for popping in. Hope things are going well with you?

I won't give up. I can't afford to really. But I still can't see how I can pay everything off by the end of the year. It seems too much. But I will try.

I'm feeling very sorry for myself today. The kids were so naughty yesterday. They made me soooooo cross I had to walk away from them (they were safe in the front room) and count to a hundred million ;) to calm down. I went to bed not long after they went and this morning I have a pounding headache and a sore throat. I think its stress induced from yesterday. I just want to go to bed and sleep it off but DH is working again today so I can't. Can see me being in bed by 8pm again tonight. Not very rock and roll is it?? :o

£100 paid off the loan from second job wages. I transferred the money yesterday but it seemed to be lost in the ether for ages. It's finally reached the account now so total updated

So annoyed with DH at the minute. The kids were so naughty on the weekend. I mean the most naughty they have EVER been. I punished them by taking away a visit to my mums on Sunday thinking that would stop them being naughty but they were worse on Sunday! I was so cross with them.

DH has just announced he's taking them to the park after school tonight. I told him no as they were not allowed to go anywhere tonight after the weekend and he says "it won't hurt. It's just a bit of fresh air for them" I took them to the beach Friday and Saturday. How much more fresh air do they want??? Plus they can play in the back garden if they want to. Now DH thinks I am being mean by not letting them go to the park. He wasn't here all weekend. He doesn't realise how naughty they were.

He obviously doesn't believe me when I told him last night. I am so upset by his attitude just now.

That is so annoying Star for your husband to be like that. It makes you look bad, would be better if he followed through with the punishment.

Hope they are all (including husband) being better behaved today.

That's how I feel Wendz. We've always stuck together on punishment even if we don't agree with it as we want to provide a united front in front of the kids. He did back down and I am glad that he thought to mention it before the kids got home. If he had said it in front of them I would have been even more cheesed off.

Everyone is much better behaved now. Think DD has learnt her lesson. Shame DS is still a bit young to understand yet.

DH and I rode our bikes to church this morning. There is a coffee morning on a Wednesday and I have run there and walked there. Even with the babies in the pram. But whenever DH is there we seem to take the car. Well he hasn't been feeling very well lately and he went up the doctors yesterday who said he's got high blood pressure. I think it's scared him a bit as his mum has had a heart attack. So we both got our bikes out today and rode there and back.

I wasn't impressed though. It's a route I run a lot but cycling was so much harder and I don't even know why. DH says the seat on my bike is too low and that's why my knees hurt, but I can't reach the floor as it is never mind if he raises the seat

No money news to report. I will get paid on Friday for an extra shift I did last week but that won't be much. Still it all adds up (or minuses from ;) ) so I won't complain.

I picked up my wage slip this time (they keep forgetting to print them) from my second job and found out I wasn't paying any tax. I rang the tax office and they confirmed that there was confusion as to whether I had finished at my main job or not. I said no and they have readjusted my tax code for my second job. I asked if I owed any tax and the guy worked out it would be just over £50. He hen said not to worry about it as they have a "tolerance" so anything under £50 is left and not chased. So that was good. Especially as the extra would probably have been taken from Friday's pay and that is only going to be about £20 anyway so I wasn't looking forward to that. Can't believe I was actually quite pleased getting off the phone from the tax office. Who would have thought??

Hi cheery. Lovely to see you. Thank you for popping by.

feeling a bit cheesed off this morning. I can't really say too much but something quite sad has happened to a friend and all these people who previously didn't want to know are now all going on about how sad they are, how they wish it hadn't happened etc. I'm sorry but where were you when it actually mattered? When you could have done something useful?

It really annoys me. Think I may stay away from FB today before I get really ranty!!!
