Hi guys. Yes it is lovely to have someone on my side. Especially someone as influential as him.

Small over payment today as DS and I have been playing and watching Spider-Man. My first wages from my 2nd job went in the bank and after a small treat for DH (a DVD) and me (a milk jug from a CS) £19.32 sent to window loan. I get paid again tomorrow so that's good.

I also need to move over the council tax payment as we don't pay it this month and the gas payment from last month as we didn't pay it during the changeover of companies.

Hopefully I'll try to do those tonight, then I can do another payment tomorrow when my wages go in.
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200
  • I remembered to pay my council tax to my card this month too - well done on the gas one too.

I must see when I can cancel my oil payment too. Ponders......

Thanks for reminding me (in a round about way :D)

Hope you enjoy the jug - its the small things in life that make us smile eh?

I get paid from my second job fri/sat not sure how much though must put that to the card too :)

Mucho thankyou's for the reminders :)

Glad I could be some help Pippi

DH's cc statement came this morning so new updated figures on the spreadsheet. I also made the following payments

£88 council tax payment we don't have to pay in February
£80 from not having to pay the regular gas DD in January due to switching companies
    £42.12 updated from cc statement
    £18.20 from updated loan amount
    Total
    £228.32

Debt figures are now under £9k and total paid off is so close to 10% :j

    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

    Thanks Wendz.

I've been using a FB selling page to sell some of our baby stuff. One lady was really keen to buy the walker we were selling asking us to keep it til the weekend for her. So we did. She messaged me loads of times saying she would let me know what time once she had spoken to her father in law etc. She didn't turn up to collect it and now she's blocked me! How ridiculous. If she changed her mind she could have just said!!

So annoying Star. As you said, why didn't she just tell you. And blocking you is just ridiculous!

I have made a good bit from the local seling pages on FB. I think they are great! I often buy Next stuff from them too, then sell on at the price I bought for. It's great!

CMD that's good that you can resell stuff at cost.

We have been decluttering again here. Another box for the charity shop, 3 big bags of papers for shredding/ recycling gone, £12.12 for selling some books and DVDs and £13 from a clothes recycling place.

You know how, when you feel like you have been decluttering forever and it never looks any different? That's how we have been feeling but we are starting to see a difference now :D that's really spurring us to do more. Obviously the cash is helping too.

We've had a bit of a shuffle round money wise. More on that to come
