This explains the various causes- and appropriate solutions.
  • My OH snores badly, it drives me insane. Im a pretty light sleeper so the slightest noise wakes me. Once he has woken me thats it. I elbow him, kick him, roll him over, shout at him, shake him - none of it makes the slightest difference. 2 seconds later he is back snoring. I lost it at 5 o clock this morning. :rotfl:

I cant wear earplugs as I have a wee boy and I would be concerned I didnt hear him. I end up having to go and top and tail with my wee boy, but I dont see why it should be me that has to get up and sleep elsewhere, OH should go sleep on the couch imo.

If DH wakes up me up, I wake him - no matter how long he "pretends" to be asleep. Then I tell him I've heard a noise & suggest checking the back door ....By the time he's back I aim to be asleep. Well, it's preferable to murder :o

Just to update the above post. With the colder weather, I've not been so drastic. My fault, I know.
Last night I was woken by the "mad bagpiper being attacked by a chainsaw" noises issuing from DH's throat.
"Not again!" I muttered, quietly to myself.
DH leapt bolt upright, wide awake, and accused me...ME!!!!!...of waking him up :mad::mad: Tonight, no mercy!
