About 10 more minutes. I'm not actually looking forward to it - I'm a bit scared. It's all JM's fault anyway. :whistle:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
im waiting in anticipation of your culinary delights....._pale_proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance!Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat moneyquote from an american indian.0

How on earth am I going to get the carbonised golden syrup off my nice used-only-once sandwich tin?
I'll let you know what it tastes like soon - it's still at about 4 million °C.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Well JM, if I had a hat, I'd take it off. :T
Not only was that good, it was actually very good. I could hardly taste the actual cheese, but because it's full of raisins and dates (and toffee), it went really well.
That settles it then. The crumble will happen. I still think the STC needs to go in with the crumble, not the apple though.
I dare someone else to try a "MBE's special Sticky Toffee Cheese Apple"! :rotfl:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
You still got some STC left? My Morrisons didn't have any today........I was gutted!!
It did look good though - another culinary triumph!!
(A nice long soak in soapy water should sort that tin out for you..no scrubbers required!!!)

I'd get that sandwich tin straight into a nice hot bowl of soapy water and soak it overnight Mr BE. Glad the apple turned out ok, good luck with the crumble.

Yes, I've still got plenty left for the crumble.
It's a "feature flavour", so not always in stock. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Wow - That looks awful.... but then lots of things that taste nice often do!!!
I'll skip the STC crumble challenge and await a more restrained recipe to try!!!BTW if your'e looking for more inspiration my best friend at school used to eat cheese and jam sandwiches with salt and vinegar crisps!!!!
Well done on your efforts:T:rotfl: :rotfl:
