3kg Whole Turkey or 2kg Turkey Crown £8 at Morrisons

Plenty in the Northampton central store as well; probably due to the fact nobody knows they are on offer!

Couldn't see them in mine nor any of the other offers I was after, and I'm positive that I checked when the offers ended when I was in last week. Wish I hadn't started on the "spend £40 a week" thingy now. Very disappointed.

Went to our local one in leyland, nothing out at all and CS didn't even have any idea what we were talking about,only appeared to have the BM turkeys. Oh also asked the butcher staff and staff on the shop floor then later rang up-no one had even heard of the offer.

OH went to see his mum in Preston and called in to the docklands store-huge display loads of the turkeys and crowns. The turkey we got is 4kg and still went through at £8 so a bargain.

Have emailed Morrisons about all this and linked to this thread, they need to see how this and the farce last week with the reductions is damaging their image with the public. I for one have been very disapointed with them.

Plenty of crowns in our store but priced @ £12.99, went through @ £8.

No turkeys of the right kind.

Anybody know the end date for the promotion?

They might get the turkeys in, you never know - and I'd have preferred that to the crown.

Thanks to this forum, I popped out to my local branch in Solihull. They had both the crowns and turkeys marked as "special purchase" (or something like that) at £10.99. I made sure I picked a white packaged one, but I reckon the pink ones would be the same as they are in the same segment.

Sure enough, at the checkout it scanned at £8.

Thanks for all the posts. I would recommend taking one to the checkout, if it doesn't scan at £8, say you don't want it. Simples.
