Hi Flygang,
Majorly stuffed up with a cold here, so feeling rather "Rudolph" and a bit "bah humbug" as having to miss some much waited things today as can't go and share, or drown the sound with my coughing!
Greenbee - travels a lot with work at this time of year, so prob a bit busy.
Its still freezing here, but no snow thankfully. Pottering gently in order today so another HHI I think - the steam is probably good for my chest! Sent boys off with a list to do my shopping and they are still not back - no idea if I'll get anything on the list :rotfl: So lunch is ?? and dinner is ??
Right ironing and WM x 2 needed, then maybe a DVD with the poorly blanket on the sofa.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -

Thanks for your comments - grateful - don't worry it's not my choice of newspaper, somebody sent me the link.

Hi
Greenbee~ was off working in far flung places.
Love the freezer defrosting, been out to my greenhouse and the inside of the glass is iced!!, once we get to spring and I am growing again, I'll put the heater on and try hard not to smoke / set the place on fire again.
Well sort of made a holly wreath for grave, one MAJOR problem, is the lack of holly trees / bushes I didn't find any, so instead I have made a berry and yew wreath, found loads of berries, 6 different sorts, so have used those, with red ribbon, & cones etc. Not too sure it looks very professional, but I made it myself, just hold it hold together till next Saturday, it is currently in the cold garage.

[seriously considers idea of taking Bloke fishing and literally chucking him in].
I have worked at a unit for child sex offenders. Blacking out the faces will quite frankly, do nothing to stop all of them getting their kicks. It's actually reminiscent of the censorship in some 'magazines' sold, depicting women in demeaning acts - removal of the eyes dehumanises them and can blur the distinction between adults and children in images even further. The twisted logic connecting the two types of images could be used to 'legitimise' the abuse. (mind you, so could the fact there is an 'r' in the month)
Some quite happily get kicks from the Mothercare catalogue, never mind kids dressed up, any image of a child to obsess over is enough for some.
There is no way to stop someone like that taking innocent images entirely out of context, so I feel that stopping photos is pointless and only punishes parents and children.

Anyway, on a happier note, it's absolutely freezing but beautifully sunny here.
I have tons of washing that will never dry, a kitchen that looks like a bombsite from him cooking a giant fry up before going back to bed and an impending sense of doom at the prospect of Christmas. KH has finally got around to buying all the fancy stuff for DD this year - the phone, the clothes, the baking stuff she has asked for - and I know she is already getting iTunes vouchers from my mum. So I have no idea what to get her. She's 11 and has the computer, the iPod, the stereo, the DSi (which she rarely uses) and has no idea what she wants beyond this.
:rotfl: the Radio 4 Announcer is talking about Gardeners' Question Time and has just called Nepeta (catnip) Neepy-Ta!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Well making good progress today. Ive pulled everything out from under my bed, found a missing libary book:D, vacuumed and replaced the now organised 'stuff'!!
Im now sorting through my wardrobe/cupboards, if it dosent fit/or I dont like it anymore its gone in the eBay pile or the bag for charity (quite alot so far!) I tried on my old favorite coat that I havent worn for years and it fits again!!!:D:D I've just got the bottom of the wardrobe and two more drawers to do and I'm finished. The kitchen floor has been given a good mop rather than scrub (DD wants to do it...strange child :rotfl:) but it was still a "on my hands & knees with plenty of elbow grease" job. Just waiting for it to dry and then I can put the non-slip mat & rug down.
Now I just need to find my hammer & screwdriver/chisle....

Even more snow here but managed to get out and up the street. We managed to sort Mums stuff yesterday and were very lucky to get a taxi back to DDs with it all. The things I brought back with me are in the spare room till I can sort them.
S&Sed this morning.
Oiled hinges on bathroom and living room doors.
Finished DDs CV and printed copies.
Windup torch/phone charger. Lamp etc all at hand.
Clean washing put away.
Snowing heavily again now. Im so pleased DB and SIL left when they did and got home safely. The hospital where I do my volunteer job has a large hill and the kids are having lots of fun coming down there.0 -
Cake in the aga.
Off out now to declutter other people's belongings back to their houses and to refill coal and log baskets plus sweep out the hearth before relighting.
ASDA were selling large bags of grit/salt for £4 a bag. I got one for the garage and one for Mum's garage just in case we need it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
