  • Help, please can i join in? I don't know what else to do but i've had enough of going around in circles with not much help from my lot!
The house seems a constant mess, my washing pile is always high and i don't get any 'me' time at all nor much of any fun time with the family either. I don't stop all day until a stupid time at night (like now) then i'm tired on top of it all too.
I need to get organised with a little list of jobs every day that i 'need' to do and then forget the rest and get on with looking after/teaching the kids (we home school) I have a teething 12mth old who is refusing to sleep anywhere other than on me so if i am doing jobs i've generally got a little helper with me! DH works shifts so isn't here in the evening to help and when he is home he looks after the kids while i do some jobs. Although he takes the rubbish out and feeds the animals the rest is pretty much left down to me and i just can't fit it all in. Please tell me i've come to the right place?

I'd like to come up with a list of managable jobs that leave the house in a reasonable state incase the in-laws turn up randomly (which they do) and having clean clothes in the drawer would be good too!

Welcome lindseykim13 - YOu need a Christmas tree and then Toots will send you a pm to get you started.:xmastree:

AJ - hope you FIL is okay - hugs for you.

Going out about 8.15 to pick the dog up - we've had a bit of snow so the kids want to go up the fields with it and have a snowball fight when we get back:D.

I've stripped the kids beds and the second wash of the day is on - better get dressed and ready to go now.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning fly ladies and gentlemen ,

    Update from yesterday,

    [STRIKE]Re-make bed with clean linen[/STRIKE]
    Hoover all through bungalow
    Sweep/Mop Kitchen and Bathroom
[STRIKE]Make a start on sorting out my overflowing wardrobe and drawers[/STRIKE] - All done!!!! :j
Sort through and do a final pre chrimbo ebay session - Need to photograph/post etc
Finish assignment - Edit/Reference and ask mum to proof-read
    [STRIKE]Dry laundry[/STRIKE] and Ironing
[STRIKE]Take cobweb brush for a walk around all rooms[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Bingbag Waltz[/STRIKE]

Today I HAVE to work on my assignment the eBay and floors can wait but I must get the assignment finished and printed for mum to proof-read for me. She is a god send as when you are working on the big points it is so easy to make silly little errors with regards to grammar or the like.

For now though I am going to enjoy my coffee in front of the fire and de-frost my chilly toes. We have had a covering of snow overnight and yes it is pretty but oooooh it is cold.

Jue - Hope you and the kids have fun playing in the snow :snow_laug
Lindseykim - welcome to the flylady's. This is so good I am a lazy moo :rotfl:but even I find doing the job lists makes a huge difference and makes life easier. In fact my house has never been so tidy as it is nowadays.
Toots - I am taking note of your directions today as my deadline for the assignment is 1st Dec and I want to get it done and submitted by Monday eve so its done and dusted. :o

I am still suffering with a lot of pain where the gallbladder was and am having to take tramadol pain-relief which blow my mind tbh. I have a wonderful smear test Thursday tho so if it is still sore I will discuss it with my nurse.

:naughty: Don't delay your smears ladies, I did and had a positive one and had to have a bit cut out of me and am now on 6 monthly tests. Worth adding to your list if you haven't been keeping up to date with them!!! :naughty:

Ok big loves, hugs, sticks, spoons and :coffee:all round

Went to my mums yesterday and never got a chance to get back on. Anyway all birthday pressies done so i finally feel i can get on with christmas. Dad seemed abit shocked that his pressent wasn't socks or sweets. :rotfl:

Hubby was suppose to be away today but it's been cancelled so looks like i'll have to find him stuff to do. ;)

Kids are getting into there snow suits and heading outside, i need to catch up on the lists and hopefully make a start on painting the hall. Need to get the fire lit again, hubby lit it this morning but it's gone out.

Grateful Happy Birthday hope you had a wonderful day.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    I have dusted downtairs.
Kitchen is all done, just waiting for floor to dry.
    Chops for dinner tonight defrosting.
Light dusting of snow here, so not sure what I will do for the rest of the morning except supervise the washing machine!! it is still freezing outside atm, so no car cleaning / gardening for me.

    Morning all.

Cold here today - there's even a light sprinkle of snow on the cricket field and the sky is threatening. DD and I were going to walk down to the local market with BB to buy some veg but we may give that a miss now! Other plans for today include cleaning the kitchen windows. They are a disgrace!

:o:o Just had a mention on a radio station!!, they were running a competition so I emailed in, didn't win, but he did says, we have an entry from kaz one of our internet listeners who is in 'exile' :rotfl: from our local area................:D:D

Now what else can I enter today!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Wm reloaded, TD on the go, first lot folded but not upstairs as OH is sleeping, and I just know if I go up I'll wake him, I hate these Saturdays and Sundays, as normally I would go to work, too cold / icy to go out.

But my neighbours have just ventured out in the small car, 2 mins later they were back, all got out of small car (q the banging of 4 doors) and into the bigger car (q the banging of another 4 doors) , and they have gone again, so I guess the small car was sliding around.
