Do you think something to correct your posture might help? Are some muscles becoming over developed at the expense of others? Oddly enough, a sports therapist might be more able to assist IMHO

It's a throwback from breaking my neck in a car crash about 15 years ago - I walked out of hospital the same afternoon that Christopher Reeve's life fell apart. :o

I'm probably not helping matters much, but I do have a super wide padded strap to spread the load across my back rather than on my neck and I always, always warm up before a session.

The GP was very keen to drug me up so I could get moving again  and is sending me to a clinic for an MRI and physio of some kind, especially as I get numbness down my left hand.

So the end result is a bassist somewhat wasted on opiates but too stubborn to stop playing.

Unheard of for me, but everyone else seems quite unfazed by the prospect.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Just on to say Happy Birthday to Grateful for Help - hope you are having a good day.

Triker - I know, and having read about your experiences I sincerely hope not.
Soappie - Don't be going awol again.

DW is on, need to shift the WM contents to the TD, and then I need to clear the spare room so someone else can sort out a bed. We have a very full house tonight.

Yep, PROMISE I am being careful, nothing on the list is overly strenuous and I am pacing myself nice and slowly..

    So far..

    My listy..

    Re-make bed with clean linen
    Hoover all through bungalow
    Sweep/Mop Kitchen and Bathroom
Make a start on sorting out my overflowing wardrobe and drawers - Started done 5 drawers but tbh these are small ones and all I did was throw out a few bits and refold them in tidily. Now have pj drawer, t shirt drawer etc and 3 bras in my ebay bag (no idea where they came from:rotfl:)
Sort through and do a final pre chrimbo ebay session
Finish assignment - Edit/Reference and ask mum to proof-read
Dry laundry and Ironing - Washing washed and now in dryer
[STRIKE]Take cobweb brush for a walk around all rooms [/STRIKE] Did while waiting for kettle to boil hehe
    Bingbag Waltz

See I am being a slow flylady :D

Ooooh well.. Not a lot achieved since my last update other than decluttering of lunch, strong painkillers and about 3 hours of sleep.:rotfl: I started hurting so instead of making things worse I did what nursey told me to and actually rested. Feel better for it too.

Have been through wardrobe and sorted out the trousers/1 skirt. Tried them all on, took into consideration that my tum is still a bit puffy and have been very brutal. Anything which was tight is now on a pile to eBay and anything which was a 'no hope in hell' of doing up, even if I laid down, is also in that pile - Its a big pile :rotfl:
Still no point keeping clothes I am not going to wear and there is nothing more frustrating to a bigger lassy than a wardrobe of too tight clothes. Plus tight jeans lead to muffin tops and to me I think they make me look even bigger.

Plus - if my evans jeans etc sell ok, which (fingers crossed) they often do I might get myself some new boots or some things which do fit nicely!

Ok, just going to go now and do my tops. Same rule will apply. If it does not fit or if I do not feel comfortable in it, eBay it is. I will have a wardrobe full of clothes that I will/can/like to wear not one stuffed to the brim with rubbish I do not wear.

Assignment has not been touched but I have all weekend as I don't want to try doing it with a painkiller doped up head :o.

Hey, I have all weekend to do it all if I need to, the house is tidier now than monday and my wardrobe is shaping up and I am taking it steady.

    Big loves all round

Yay... my wardrobe is done and looking sooooo organised, in fact it has never looked so good in all the time I have been here.

I even have it organised into coats, trousers, tops and jumpers.. awesome.

I have also made the bed up, emptied the dryer and sorted out what needs ironing and put everything else away.
I have done a quick binbag jive and filled a laundry basket with things to photograph and list on ebay.

Now I am giving up for the day, the floors can be done tomorrow after the fire has been cleaned out as it is Friday night now and I am going to chill out and maybe start the photos.

Nice work Dippy with the graphics card!
    Jojo don't over do it
Dusty - It might be worth roasting the tomatoes with some pepper before whizzing for the soup as I find this really brings out the flavour and sweetness. I use cherry tom's too if I can find them on a whoopsie specially as these have a better flavour. I know what you mean though there really is nothing like proper sunny warm homegrown tomatoes.
Ajmoney - Hugs to you and your family, hope Fil is ok.
Piggers - Hope your mum is coping Ok, sorry to hear about her loss.
