I also made a dentist appointment as I was passing by one which is now taking on NHS patients
and then went to a timber merchants to buy new floorboards (only 2m length). When I got back I phoned the CSA about missing money again  Not their fault but Ex's employers again we think as it doesn't appear to be the CSAs. Last time it took them 6 weeks to sort the problem out.
Tonight I will be ironing once DD has gone to bed while I watch True Blood from last night
Right now I'm off to make tea - cheese toasties in our new sandwich toaster  Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Thanks for the welcomes.
It was the proper flylady forums I used before and this looks a lot more manageable as I have a tendancy to get a bit list loopy and overdo it so this looks like a much more fun version.

Jojo the Tightfisted Have you tried Alexander Technique? I know you said about an accident but they can make sure you are holding the bass the right way for you. I had a friend have a problem with her french horn and another with her viola and the sessions helped them loads.
Was at the hospital for ages with OHs dad. He was due for a scan 15 minutes after me arriving and said I could go with him. Obviously the are trying to sort the bleeding but the scan is cos he has terrible pain in his stomach. They didn't have a verdict on the results but OHs sister was arriving 30 mins after I left so we are waiting to hear from her. I asked the nurse if there was anything new to pass around and all she said is he isn't the same as when he normally goes in, she said "he really isn't well at all" and he hates a fuss usually but thanked me for being there and didn't try to stop anyone coming in. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of what is making him so unwell. OH was worried when I spoke to him after asking if I thought he should go in or if tomorrow would be too late, I'm hoping it is not that serious but as I say, we are waiting on news at the mo.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

The kitchen got a good clean this morning. Plus got the dailies done. Went out to get a thank you card for the home mum was in. Thought I better get some family Christmas cards but nearly came unstuck when I saw the Mum ones. We are going to sort her things out tomorrow.
Have been back to my voluntary job today. Lots of appointments for clinics cancelled because of the weather conditions up here. The cat has taken refuge under the radiator upstairs.
One load of washing in and broth cooking.
Soappie. How lovely to see you posting again. Hugs.
