short_bird we have some boxes for that purpose anyway and the gramophone is in one of those cabinets so I might see if they will all fit in what we have got already. The problem is OH has been hiding his paperwork to tidy it away in there, oh well, looks like he will be doing some decluttering later :rotfl:

As it is the birthday of Him Indoors tomorrow, a couple of people were due to stay over to :beer::beer::beer:. The really annoying visitor emailed to say he's not coming over till tomorrow and I'm :j:j:j. I suppose I should be
but life's too short.

So far I have managed to
Speak to insurance broker who can't help
Taken DS2 to town and could only see one of the things we wanted to look at
Made tom soup which was not very nice due to tasteless tomoatoes, won't buy them again until summer so need to find a good recipe for tinned ones.
Fence is done and looks lovely, just need to wait for the last panel to arrive and all the broken old ones (willow panels) can be broken up as firewood.
A couple more presents arrived/bought.

No list for me today, as brats do own rooms, allegedly.(dyson , dusters and binbags await DS return from school! ) Have hoovered, dusted, cleaned kitchen floor and scrubbed stair carpet. Stuck at home waiting for BT , so off for a coffee then to tackle the leaning tower of ironing!RIP Iain

Can you add vegetables to it, and make an improvised, but tasty, soup
