Groatie, how lovely is your neighbour. Mine just moan about foxes in the garden:)

Thanks Cheery, I have shouted sufficiently and informed them that the nearest car hire (who I use for work) have a car available. Just had a call to say that the car is being delivered at 2pm this afternoon YAY. Moo will be able to go to the forest for a very big run this afternoon! That or the beach me thinks. The roads are now very clear here as the snow is melted. This can be the good thing about living near to the sea.

    Good news Cheri!

Fantasia - hope you have a better day today. I sympathise with feeling stressed and grumpy - I was pleased to be sent home because of the snow yesterday but got really bored and hence irritable and did silly little bickering with OH.. back at work this morning but don't really want to be here, but don't want to be at home getting bored and grumpy again. I have realised that I don't really get any time on my own now - only really walking to and from work, and I just want some thinking time. Feeling anxious and generally crappy, sigh.

    Hi MG,
Loving the recipes, the other thing I do on mince pies is use a pastry cutter and have a marzipan shape on top. I don't particularyl like the stuff but they taste divine when they are cooked.

Whilst on the recipe subject please could you post the one for red cabbage?

Ladies and gentlemen (if there are any here), I need a big favour from the Universe: I'm out to buy a new muscial instrument, and the one that I'm looking at is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. It is the instrument of kings and queens, but it costs a chuffing fortune!

If the universe were to deposit said instrument in my lap, or the means to procure it, I would be very greatful. Very greatful indeed.

    Pweety please! :D

    OK - first TADA done

Car is clear of snow & have managed to move it 6 inches - not worrying too much about moving it further as there seems to be a wee thaw setting in.
Have had a wee go at the conserv roof but can't do much as I'm too small:(
Have brought in gloss from the garage to paint pathroom door
Found Christmas cards in the garage so can make a start on these:j
    Dishwasher on
    Washing on

Off for a coffee & then TADA number 2

Omg!! I have just lost it big time with my two :(

I was cleaning the kitchen they were on the xbox, not even thinking of helping, so I shouted, if you two help it will get done quicker, was ignored :( then they were shouting they were hungry and wanted pasta, shouted back, if your hungry make it yourself I'm not your slave, so ds2 (13) got up to make it while ds1 (16 )just sat there. I asked ds2 to move cause he was in the way of me sweeping the floor, instead of moving decided to jump on the worktop, knocking my coffee everywhere, at this point I lost it :( and said a few choice words, told ds1 to get off his !!!!! and stop being a lazy sod, and stomped upstairs and made my bed, came back down, coffee was cleared up and another one made and they were both making pasta.

now I'm going to have a shower

:rotfl: Not likely...I just mean that it's one of the best types of this instrument from one of the best makers. The only problem is that the ticket price reflects this! ;)
