Too tired to write or catch up but wanted to share this quote.
“Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you”

  • Why do you feel guilty about finding the PDF Buffy?

Just cos it is free and the guy worked hard (mind you he has wrote LOADS of books so isn't exactly poor)

Just back in from enjoying a cup of coffee in the garden whilst watering all of our seeds - goodness me it looks like we were busy yesterday:D

Had one of those nights that when you slip under the duvet, you don't seem to move and can slip out of bed again without disturbing anythng - must mean I don't have a guilty conscience or I am not worrying about money stuff or something (I used to wake up through the night every night in a cold sweat)

Actually I think I am a lot calmer in myself - don't get me wrong we are still pretty skint - but now, thanks to you guys we actually have a plan - and we are working that plan; and we are following that plan; and we are achieving the goals on that plan.:T

    So today?

1.Sowing some tomatoes and some more clearing of the garden.

    2. BM on - for toaster bread and raisin bread (from stores)

    3. An hour setting up DS1's homescholing things for going "back to school"

Can't think of anything we need from the shops - but need to update with yesterdays spends.

£1.09 - cholcolate biscuits for kids picnics (14 generic Penguins)
£0.78 - two 2l bottles of fizzy pop - its hot here so a treat fr working in the garden.
£6.00 - a sack of Red Rooster potatoes from the farm gate

So a scary £7.87 yesterday - but the Red Roosters will outlast the £100 and the last bag was such good value as we loved them baked, fried, mashed, boiled, gratined, made into soup, bread, gnochhi and salad. Much nicer than some of the watery supermarket spuds.

    Off to update the signature.
