Spud - I can second Pickle in that your two were lovely. Very polite and they talk to grown ups as well :D (especially if the subject is Harry Potter)

Little Boy and Young Man went to MG's course today - I have not seen YM but LB is buzzing. He was telling me all about his mind map, he knew the planets anyway but he estill explained the system to me and he was talking about the new friends he made. Given that he was three years younger than the next one up (who I suspect is your son Spud) not bad going.

I also hope they were good although with their parentage this is always iffy - they can be charmingly naughty.

I am still feeling ill though - in fact this afternoon I fell asleep in an armchair, with my book opened and my glasses on. But woke up on time to go to the venue of the course and meet most (sorry Spud you met my OH but left before I managed to talk to you). Pickle, Dedicated and NorthernLas it was lovely to meet you.

Thank you NL, I'm very proud and pleased they behaved so well. I'm quite leaky eyed actually, bless them. Yes, Harry Potter is a favourite topic of conversation, especially for DS.

My DS is 12 FW. He's a big tall lad for his age with a newly squeaky breaking voice.

I'm so sorry I didnt get to meet you, Pickle, NL or Dedicated today. I was that amazed at the animation and positivity in my DS, we just left chatting and didnt stop all the way home. In fact, he's still talking about it and is sat with his pens mindmapping.

Ahh, that was your DH I was talking to? We were talking about the school. DH went there, and taking his kids round his school was really quite strange for him I think.

Get well soon FW. Hopefully we'll get to meet properly next time.

  • Ok people I have a question...............................
Does any one else on the thread smoke:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I know, its awful and deplorable and all the other things that people think about it and I soooooooooo want to stop, have just discovered its more addictive than heroin and apparently more difficult to detox from
and I'm having the most awful guilts about it, like trying to find reasons to justify doing it etc, etc, etc.,
I did give up a couple of years ago with a little help from patches but lapsed the 1st time there was a drama, which I thought at the time was a crisis. Just wanted to know if there are any smokers, or ex smokers etc
and what has happened to the tabulation here lol.
Honestly, I push keys and the strangest things happen lol.
ps Claire, the new jewellery is gorgeous

Now I'm even more desperate to go to MG's sessions - if we get our house sorted by then, I'm treating myself as an investment in my education!
