No snow but veyr cold - in fact a nice, sunny winter day. But I still want snow. Otherwise, feeling really poorly - not enough to go to bed but not well enough to do things either. Dull headache, nose hurting...virus...

Woke up this morning to a very cold day and heavy frost. A little of the finest snow (snow drizzle really) fell this morning and it then warmed up to just over freezing and it all melted away. Since then the sun has peeked out a couple of times, but that's all. A bit of a nothing day really.

Have been busy sorting out though. Still quite tired after the surgery, but it's not too bad if I do a bit and then sit a bit. Am knitting a little jacket for a friend of my daughter who is expecting a little girl in February. It's on very fine needles, so quite a lot of work in it but I'm pleased with the progress I'm making. Need to get it finished as I have other projects to do for when my daughter's baby arrives in January.
  • Good to hear from you Susan and glad that you're making progress after the op. You've inspired me to dig my knitting out again!

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.
