Good luck to MG and I hope everyone going to her Manchester day has a blast tomorrow.

We did! Most seriously, properly good, If MG is going to be anywhere near you, I'd highly recommend it.

I totally agree. I didnt stay, but the difference in my kids today is AMAZING. They came out totally animated and excited. I'm not sure how you managed that MG, expecially with my DS, but thank you so much. He's smiling about learning, which he hasnt done in such a long time.

They insisted we go and get the pens you recommended straight away before we came home, so they now have a set each and some A3 paper too. They are both sat here mind mapping !!!

I seriously will never be able to thank you enough MG :kisses3:

They were indeedy. My 15 year old mini me, and 12 year old teenager in training.

Were they well behaved and good mannered? They usually are, but I did whisper a reminder before I dropped em off ;):D

:j:j:j Today seems to have gone well then MG, great stuff :j:j:j

Why is it Mum's always feel the need to drum in to their kids they have to be polite and well behaved before they leave them anywhere :rotfl: Glad to hear they behaved as you wanted :D

Well, I had family coming today for lunch but they all had snow and decided not to chance it. We had a mild dusting that has almost all thawed. So here am I with Shepherds Pie for 6, debating whether to freeze it or eat it for a few days when a friend calls in to say hi. Turns out they were having a night in so it will now be a night in at mine (only round the corner) with Supper thrown in :T

Hi everyone. Im slowly getting back into things. We went to sort mums things out today which produced a mixture of tears and laughter. Lots of snow here so it was a case of walking everywhere. Will catch up with the thread a bit.

I don't have kids so I am an expert of course!!!! :rotfl:

My sister always did the same with her three and then was amazed at how well they behaved when out as she reckoned they were little demons at home. My view was if they were going to misbehave or be rude and stroppy I would rather they did it at home where a swift rebuke could be metered out by Mum.

They are now all in their twenties and an absolute delight and know how to behave in most situations.

My Mum was always very strict on manners too and I really do understand why now :) But she always said I was brought up to be a lady but was surplus to requirements :rotfl:

Oh Boddy, I know what a tough job that is. Lovely that you can laugh and cry though.

    ((((((Hugs)))))

Take care in the snow and ice anyone that has to venture out in it.
