Glad you are getting into Matrix now Fantasia and Maryb.
Keeping Motivated, some peoples emails went into their spam by mistake when we were receiving them. Has this happened to you? It seems strange that you are not getting emails from MG about stuff so it would suggest to me that your account may be recognising her emails as spam and sending them straight there. It may be worth checking.

I give up on you lot and all the talk over the last couple of days:) I have hooted with laughter so much that my african grey parrot is now cackling in the corner like a witch. I hate when he copies me because I realise how awful I sound

You have one of those too? A corner cackler I mean:rotfl:.
I have one of those as well. he's 9 and laughs and coughs like a witch too lol (namely me). Plus he just shouted "You're a muppet" at me for laughing at posts. His names Robert (Bobby when he behaves which isnt often) and he's sooooooooo intelligent.
Every house should have one :eek:;)

Oh I agree. You are right every house should have one.I love him he is a comedy genius (I say he but could be a she) His name is Coco and he is 10 years old, he shouts at the dog, sings Old Macdonald, does the pips on the radio at the right time, Calls to next doors cat and does the phone (usually when I am already on it) He also repeats telephone conversations so need to be careful what I say. When visitors come he constantly shouts "do you want a cup of tea?" and then "yes please" When the tea arrives he says "thats nice"

  • How's your snow Claire - I've just seen it on the news and it looks thick!

Thanks for my parcel by the way, it's sooooo cute :) (did you get the £?)

Totally relate. Bobby sings Old Macdonald, repeats bits of conversations, answers at the relevant time when he hears people talking, usually in a way that makes sense and people are astonished at him. He says "I'm the hardest parrot in Fife,
And I've never been beat in a fight in
    my Life".

He also has acquired what i call colourful metaphors (not from me of course lol). And comedy genius is the word also. He bathes in his waterbowl, refusing the expensive bird bath OH got him at Xmas, and when he wants attention he throws seed all over the floor
  • The boyf would like a parrot. There's a beautiful white one with yellow feathers in its wings at the local pet shop. He's been there for about 9 months, and is £900!!!

I won't let him have it though, because I think he'd traumatise the cats... Also, I can't see how I could fit a cage the size it would deserve in my little flat :(

    Love the parrot tales... :)
