I do have to say though that I am so disappointed in paying £160 for a course and then having to nearly beg for details, I've sent MG PM's as well as posting on the thread and no confirmation of payment or details of the day or venue...very odd...obviously a flaw in the system but I hope it gets sorted soon.
Glad you got your details, I'm sure it would have been an oversight and will hopefully be sorted when MG realises. Enjoy tomorrow.
Winky massive comgratulations. amd welcome to the world baby Saskia, hope you're recovering ok Winky, thank you for letting us know hon x0 -

Thanks, you're right and to be fair it obviously has been posted on this thread at some point but I don't think that routing through a thread for details is professional and the image that MG wants to get across for her business, a personal email to the account who paid should be the least to expect.
Actually I wonder if other people on the course did get confirmation emails or letters and maybe just something went wrong with my booking which I suppose is not so bad as there are always going to be teething problems.
I'm sure the day will be a great sucess and I am looking forward to it as long as MG doesn't think I'm a trouble causer now.0 -

MG I have also made a couple of comments along these lines and I think you will have to address these issues soon if you want to get business from outside the circle of people reading this thread.
Please, please don't think I am having a go - we all want you to succeed and I think you have a huge amount to offer people through your training. I am still determined to book my two DDs and myself on the London course when it is rearranged.
It was a great pity that the friend who was going to help you wasn't able to do it at the last minute because of the other job offer. I can believe that this sort of "housekeeping" would take up a lot of time - time which the mentors are not allowing you. You said yourself that they are not used to mentoring someone who has no backup support system. But although they are right when they say you need to get someone on board as soon as possible to allow you to focus on growing the business and not having to firefight admin problems, until you do find that person, the admin problems won't go away by themselves. Maybe it's time to take stock with the mentors about this?It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
Many congrats to Winky and welcome Saskia - what a gorgeous name that is0

I may be wrong - so please correct me but I though the idea was not to make the address public iykwim to avoid people trying to hack the site. Maybe you could edit your post - apologies if I've got this wrong.2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -

Absolutely what she said. Again though the other forum is also the place where sharing the above kind of information is an ideal place (do completely agree though for the sake of professionalism MG needs someone on board who can take care of these issues)
There are ways of doing admin remotely via the computer (I'm not teccy enough to know how though). People have offered via the Matrix thread so maybe delegation is in order.
With regard to the other thread though, a lot of people includng me are having issues accessing it. I was able to use it before it changed and then couldnt get in..
I know the forum admin are busy people but maybe it would be a good idea to collate all the people who are having trouble getting in and dealing with it. The last thing anyone wants is bother from MSE Towers for discussing things in here that they should'nt be.
This is meant to be constructive, not to offend anyone or criticise BTW. Better dealt with head on than allowed to build up IYSWIM0 -
I think it's a matter of working out what the process needs to be and setting up a system that flags when an action is needed THEN automate that when you can. But if you can work out what types of action might be required -acknowledgement/followup/confirmation etc - then you can control the process even if it has to be done manually Back in the very dim and distant past when I was a wee young auditor I recall we used to do flowcharts of the whole sales and delivery process in order to understand it and identify where the risk areas were. I hated auditing and I was completely useless at it and got out ASAP so I'm not the best person to talk to about that. Someone like Crickett who IS good at it could probably talk more sense about this than me
A mind map would also probably be more appropriate than a flowchart in this context!!It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0
