I have just managed to catch up from the last month.

I am a member on the other side and about a month ago i read some comments about members being culled if they had not posted within a certain time but there was no conclusion.

Anyway I tried to log in yesterday ( have not been on since) and it does not recognise my user name or email address (to obtain password), I can get through security to get to the forum but no further.

So have I been culled or do I need to contact Mr F?

I am still interested in the Matrix but with DH being poorly for the last 3mths I was running the household (and animals) single handedly and have not had time to get on much.

We are hoping to start a business with all our animals but unfortunately need to clear some debt first

As the others have said send MrFW a message - the blocking of access was not about culling but to assertain participation. It may also be an idea just to say hi on the tread that has been started.

These are my thoughts re pen-friending (is that a verb? ;))
If interested young peeps in the UK write an introductory letter about themselves and put on the outside of their envelope their gender and age. Then if someone in the UK can gather them together and send them to me (or the centre) we'll divvy them up appropriately.

I'm not back in the UK until the end of May so if we want it to get going before June we need a co-ordinator in the UK.

I'll post personal details elsewhere :D

NB English is their 2nd, 3rd or even 4th language

What do you need for a co-ordinator in the UK? If it's not hugely time consuming, I don't mind helping.

I wish I had 2 or 3 other languages up my sleeve...

I was totally put to shame by my friend's 3.5 yr old the other weekend (She's Greek/English bilingual). I was being her favourite friend on Saturday - I always take her into town on the bus and we go for lunch :)

We were getting hungry and she decided she wanted McDonalds - couldn't dissuade her so off we went. She decided she wanted another drink so I gave her some money and sent her to order it... she decided she would ask for her drink in Greek. That confused the poor boy on the till.. I wish I had a photo of his confuddled face!

Just a quickie MG - I don't really count you as a single mother. Single mothers to me are usually just out of nappies themselves, and have to got pregnant so that they can live on benefits forever and get a council house. I just don't see you in that category AT ALL.

Sorry if this ruffles a few feathers!
