Lunches packed - all from store. Dinner is defrosting and everything is here too.
Think I wil have to buy some full fat milk for the toddler today - bu apart from that we are good to go, so a spend of less than a pund I should think.
Dropping DS1 and his best pal at a sports day being run by a local golf centre this morning. DS2 is being dropped at his grans where she has a list of "chores" for me to whizz around and do in preparation for their cheapie holiday.
I need preservative for my fence panels - but Dad has found a bargain where I can get 7l of Cuprinol for £7. I won't count that from our Grocery Challenge as we have saved our £2.00 for the last year and have saved £100 so it will come from there.
The only other thing is a birthday present for DS2 for Frday- and I have £15 in fifty pences saved for that in a pot .............. mind you I am completely stumped as to what to get him. I'm thinking new crayons, pencils, paint, sticking stuff etc from the poundshop, and some balloons of course- lots of little bits n bobs.
So keeping my debit card firmly in my pocket................ here we go

Wow, congratus on the win, hope it's a yummy restaurant
Woohoo! Monday again and apart from a really sore throat, I feel great. The sun is shining, DD's splashing happily in the bath, wish she'd hurry up and get out so I can jump in, the washing's out on the line, I'm going to take 50p in my purse today as I need to pick up a reserved library book, but leave the rest at home. I think I use my purse and mobile as security blankets, feel lost without them, when really, do I actually need to have them right by my side 24 hours a day? I think not....
Packed lunches done, extra fruit and snacks tucked away in my bagI have enough leftovers from last night to feed us with some added salad tonight, but it's a busy one today as I'm off to college to do another written test (but as I got a fabulicious score in the first one, I'm not too fussed, as the best mark goes forward towards 25% of my GCSE. However, I mustn't rest on my laurels too much, I still have the real paper to do in June for which I have a lot of studying to do for.....
MG - the idea of little bits and bobs sounds perfect if your DS2 is anything like my DD. She has a huge cupboard full of crafty bits and loves getting new stickers and glitter. Also, lots of presents looks fabulous piled up in front of you when you're younger (not to be sniffed at when you're a grown up either, tee hee!).0 -
Good morning
Another one with a sore throat and stuffy nose here
Trying to get the house in order after the weekend, plus still trying to find places to put things out of the way, not succeeding much on that score though, looks like we are going to have a nice day today, so washing machine is on, kitchen has been cleaned, dishwasher onjust need to get rubber gloves so that I can give the sink a good scrub ( had my nails done as part of my mothers day pressie on Sat, so don't want to ruin them, been told when washing up use rubber gloves as the nails will last much longer
)
Living room hoovered tidied and floors washed, just waiting for floor to dry before I start the dining room. Made Easter cards yesterday so have to tidy craft away, was too sore yesterday. Also had an order for 3 pairs of earrings yesterday so need to make those too.
Need to meet mum at 10 too.
MG how on earth do you manage to only spend £100 a month on groceries? I spent £18 yesterday and that was just on packed lunch stuff!!!Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Greenbee, I'd love to pick your brain for your CV skills for OH if you would be able to help.
I have a huge list of things to do today, as I have an extra day off, fighting a nasty cold that kicked in last night though (echinecea on the go already...). Might need a kick up the bum later if I'm here and not doing tasksNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I'm off to meet my mum, not got much done in the way of getting craft stuff sorted.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000

As we've been reminded not to share personal details, I'll just say that this needn't involve sharing them (hopefully CVs have information in that you want to be made public!) and that this can be done safely either via PM or through other networking sites that we use which allow sharing of documents...
OK... suppose I should so some work... the fire is very noisy due to the wind, so hopefully my clients won't notice it!0 -

Bits n bobs achieved - stashed in the car and awaiting wrapping. He should have quite a pile and I didn't spend a penny more than I have saved.
Only "extras" I bought was some breakfast cereal for bubs - cos DS1 is happy with fruit bread and jam, weetabix or porridgy things. DS1 likes his crispies or flakes (LIDL ones natch not branded)
So another £1.88 for cereal and milk to report on the UGC.
