  • Bitsy Beans and dirtyepic - I bought some duvet covers/ girls dresses (with lots of gathers/fabric)/ mens shirts/camouflage trousers/anything cotton that took my fancy, from charity shops for a couple of pounds to cut up for bunting. The duvet covers make a huge amount of triangles, I'm also making letters in ribbon/lace/buttons and whatever else I can find to go on the triangles. I'm giving them as birthday/Xmas presents and need to make quite a few!
I need a craft project to do, especially on rainy days.
    Happy half term to everyone

Thanks, I need a good mooch in my CS, although I confess I didn't find the prices in there too cheap!

    Hi Everyone

Well done Bitsy, I had a big clean today too. Tidied my tip of a workroom, hoovered the house washed all the floors, cleaned the bathrooms, soaked and washed this load of stained whites I had set aside for ages, did the bins, recycling and then washed myself! It left me feeling quite self-righteous, hope you are too :o

Marru - seconded on the puds!

We went to see the King's Speech tonight, I really enjoyed it.

    Good afternoon

Well I'm a poorly person today, have managed to catch the stomach bug that is going around :(

So I'm just pottering around today as I can't go far, sorting beads etc, might make a few bits of jewellery later on too.

Had the sewing machine yesterday too, so once I'm sorted for the shops, I'm going to have a play.

Why didn't I think of that? What a brilliant idea. And I think I have some old curtains and bedding lurking in the loft. Thats a plan for half tem week then.

Bitsy - you might find some hidden treasures in the loft?

Sorry to hear you were feeling so rotten yesterday. Hope you're a bit better now.
