    Afternoon everyone.

It's MoneysavingDiva's funeral today so I hope things go with a lovely purple bang (her fave colour).

Marru - Hugs and positive vibes for today xx

Cheri and Triker - Ooooh can't wait to hear your exciting news and plans :D

TDQ - Thanks for the suggestion of fat quarters on ebay. Will have a nosey at what they've got over there :D Good luck for your interview :D Let us know how it goes.

    dirtyepic - ooooh what I wouldn't give for a craft room <sighs wistfully>

Claire - Chin up chicken xx

Busy morning doing nothing so far, ferrying kids to and from school and then soft play. Got 3 hours before it all starts again (DD depending of course ;)).
No plans for today, just had a spot of lunch, done one load of washing and hung it up and another one just gone on. Should leave the basket empty for the weekend ;)

Have a great Friday and woooooooooo hooooooooooo it's the weekend :T

  • Hello all. Cheers for everyone who wants one, and hugs for those that need them.

I am back at work today for the first time in 2 weeks. I have just about crawled out from the pile of emails that were waiting for me, and compiled my to do list. I felt like running screaming from the building! It is HUGE!! Still, I think it might be achievable to get through by the end of next week. Maybe. So I am still going to be a stranger next week as well.

Not feeling 100% still, but a darn site better than I have been feeling, so I am happy with that for now. I have lots planned for this weekend, especially as hubby is working all weekend so I need to get my head down and get through the list of jobs that need doing at home.

Take care everyone, and lots of love to the Matrix!

  • Glad to hear you're starting to feel a bit more like yourself Crickett - nothing worse than the horrific site of your inbox when you've been off for a while - I remember it well!

Claire - You're right about your name not being over the door, of course, but on the other hand you also don't have the responsibility - it seems to me to be a very responsible way of growing your business so well done to you for branching out like that. :T

I feel as though I've had quite a productive couple of days, in fact, I can feel a TA DA! coming on.....

Details for business website sent to helpful chap who is putting the site together for me
Business email set up - using gmail so no cost on that and gives me a more professional looking account than hotmail as well IMO
Avon deliveries nearly all done - just three more to do tonight/tomorrow morning
    Income/expenditure spreadsheet up to date
    Filing done up to date
Some older stuff decluttered from the filing cabinet and now out ready for shredding
Rubbish out from through the flat, and old Avon books to recycling bin.
Washing up to date - whites will go through tonight with MrEH's work shirts ready for him to iron them on Sunday / Monday for the week

Fingers crossed for MSD's funeral going well today - hugs to her friends on here and anyone else who needs them, as well as the positive vibes going Marru's way.... xx

Thank you so much everyone. Battle has been won but not the war. I am absolutely pooped and also I have to now admit to myself that the black dog is bag and he is HUUUUUGEEEEE.

Sorry details later but now need to dash to see if I can get a chance to speak to a doctor and also deliver DD's party dress for her school disco. I shall take my x-stitch with me. I think the other parents would be horrified if I took with me my current reading: "Shoot the damn dog" :rotfl:

  • Hurrah to battles being won Marru! :T Try to take some time for yourself this evening if you can - sounds like you need it!

    Aw hugs to Marru.

Hope MDS's funeral went well. My friends mums is tomorrow. I am a bit nervous as our mutual friend is in Oz on holiday and I only know a few other people so I'll be by myself. Never been to a funeral on my own before.

Off work now til Tuesday. X
