    For everyone that has asked.
She's more than made herself at home lol, taken up residence on the sofa, the bed, (she does get down when asked). And more importantly in our hearts.
My stepdaughter came in today after not seeing Leyla for a week and was gobsmacked at the weight she has put on (I don't notice it, seeing her everyday, and was starting to wonder lol). So thats an improvement.

Keep asking myself, why oh why didn't I do this ages ago.
Dont know if the pic has shown up in the post (probs not am so useless at this sort of stuff lol)

    woohoo it worked
  • Gorgeous :T

Photo caption: (said in long-suffering voice) "Lord will he hurry up and get off that sofa - can't he see a girl wants to sit down" :rotfl:
  • Awww she's lovely. :) Well done for a good decision (and for showing off your photo posting prowess :)))

Marru - Well done you :T:T:T A pass is a pass, but just think what you could achieve with the right amount of time :D

Thrifty - Fabby news about your son, and it gets you a break :T:T:T I hope he got on OK today and is willing to go back for the next few weeks.

Fantasia - Thanks for the Leyla update - She looks gorgeous :)

Positive thoughts to those that need them and those that aren't so sure :D

Thanks all for all the good wishes. I was a bit of a snottery mess but was there for my friend so that's all that matters. Seeing her later in the week.

Marru well done and Thrifty hope your son got on okay.

I have no loft (and am a tidy freak anyway) but Mum and Dad cleaned theirs recently. They're not hoarders really but some of the stuff that was up there!

OMG!!! Just got the exam results from December and I passed both exams!!!!! Not great scores but considering that I had only month to prepare after moving houses while working full time I am soooo chuffed :j

    Congrats, Marru!:T:T:T:T:T:T
Hehe, it gets 6 months in my place... and I think that's a bit generous :)

I hide it, then I wait 6 months, throw it out and wait for the whining to start. I have to say, not many times have I been found out ;) x

Brilliant idea TMIF. I must try this one! Hubs has a habit of collecting 'interesting things' purring over them for a while and then putting them down somewhere - anywhere - where they stay until I get fed up and ask him where it's going to live whereupon he puts it in the loft:mad::mad: I dread decluttering the loft!!!!!!!!!

Goodness you lot, I'd never dream of throwing away anything that belonged to Mr Daffs without telling him  Probably why our house is full of stuff :rotfl: He most definitely *is* a Bringer-Home-Of-Interesting-Things - often from skips or that others are throwing out. So we have lots of things - but whenever anyone is after a specific 'something or other', we've usually got one :D
  • Thing is my H will happily chuck out useful stuff, say a bike rack for saloon car (when we have an estate) which cost £30+ but is moaning at a less than £5 gym ball. Go figure LOL

Get this ladies and gents, I've actually done some exercise! I know, I amaze myself sometimes ;) I did H's Valentines pressie Jillian Michaels Shred last night and again at 7am this morning. Will I keep up this relentless pace? Um probably not when I have to fit in the school run although I did toy with the idea of setting the alarm for 6.30am and getting up (in theory) half an hour before the kids and going some exercise be it Shred or Wii Fit. Will have to see how that turns out......best laid plans etc :o

Not much happening here, taking the kids out for a walk later, will probably spend the day with my mum so I need to crack on get my jobs done before we go.

Have great days, lots of positive vibes for you all :D

Fantasia - I did post on FB but she's gorgeous, I just want to give her a big squeeze :D
