Take care of yourself Clooties Mum, it's a tough day for you, and you shouldn't feel bad about feeling bad at all! Be kind to yourself, and take the time that you need xx

You take care too cherisong, you've got a busy time on at the minute.

TDQ, sounds like you're enjoying retirement! :T Well done you! :T

Claire, hope tomorrow is a little more peaceful for you...

Good luck starting your literature review Lara! Make sure you make a note of EVERY reference IN FULL, including page numbers :D (not that I've learned from experience or anything... :rotfl:)

I'm working at home for the next 3 days now :T Looking forward to a little catching up on washing and pottering and things in the evening. Gosh, I'm enjoying this coming home from work and being able to STOP rather than having to start on PhD business :rotfl:

Must dig out my goals for the month! :T

What I want to do is make a donation of £150 to the Pet Ambulance, and I'd like peoples opinions, is this reasonable, too little, or more./?????????
Opinions would be greatly appreciated. :):)

That amount should cover the cost of the fuel at least, so seems about right. Maybe sandwiches and drinks for the driver would be a nice touch.

Hugs to you Clootie. I am a nightmare for those sort of dates, they all have to be acknowledged even if it is a quiet moment in the day to contemplate the person no longer with me, lighting a candle or buying a bunch of their favourite flowers. I think I would be more sad if they were not remembered IYSWIM. My sister's and I tend to call each other on the right day but not actually mention what made us ring :rotfl: But we all know why we are calling, it is a bit like a virtual hug.

Fantasia - That sounds like a fair donation and I think Vanda's idea of a drink and a sandwich (even if he takes it with him for the journey home) is lovely. I am sure you and Leyla will be very happy together, can't wait to see piccy's :)

Claire - Your busy week is making me tired :D

CM - In my experience it does get easier. Though I found year 2 somewhat tougher than year 1. Hugs to you xxx

Claire - Well done on the beads and OH paying ... woo hoo! Could you sell small packs of excess beads on ebay yourself? Or do packs so that the more craftily au fai could make bracelets / neclaces / earings similar to yours?

Just checked into the hotel in Cardiff and have free wi fi so it seemed rude not to check into here too.
Thank you everybody for your kind words about my post. I just have a habit of saying whatever comes into my head and I am sure that many of you will have much more eloquent ways of doing that. Clootie, thank you. I have to say that I am starting to dread it, as NorthernLas says, I am finding year 2 much harder. I did the same with my Dad so I do know that it becomes easier soon. Good idea to veg in front of the telly and read a book, no point in trying to concentrate on anything. Things that need doing will still be there tomorrow and if they are not then they didnt need doing.

Claire you work so hard, you tire me out.

Fantasia, whatever you feel is right, is right. Like the idea of a sandwich and cup of tea and I am sure they will like it too. I have never heard of pet ambulance. Must look at that sometime.

Everybody else, sorry if I missed your news - oh Bitsy, great idea to do a workshop. - I am shattered after 5 hours travelling. Up early tomorrow to head into the office and have 2 meetings before presenting at 1.00. Feeling quite nervous as I am also being assisted by a sign language interpreter for the first time. Will need to be careful that some of my words are not rude :)

    Good morning.

I am very sore and very tired this morning :( and not feeling good :(, can't wait for this week to be over, I think I am going to have to say no to people instead of yeah no problem lol.

Got home from asda yesterday and a neighbour asked me to do a school run for them, so thats another thing to do today.

Just having breakfast and a coffee, then it is in the shower for me, up mates shop till 11 then back to look after other mates boy till 1.30, then school run at 3, inbetween that need to finish sorting computer table and emptying it, and have a general tidy around.

Am going to do stock take of beads while I'm there to see what has been sold and what is selling.

Northern lass good idea about ebay, will sort out the beads later when they come, see what I have loads of.

Oh and at 10pm tonight, can someone please come around and help me get into bed??? cause I think I am going to struggle after today, now where are those painkillers??
