Well good morning
Hope everyone is well, Jack (my poorly dog) has been sick this morning and is looking very sorry for himselfso looks like I may have a day of mopping floors in-between looking after my friends little boy for her to work and going to physio with mum. Looks like there will be another trip to the vets too
I started bagging beads up for my mate last night, the beads I bagged I have had here 2 years, where I buy in bilk cause it is cheaper, I got fed up of using the same old beads, so I think any beads that I have had a long time should be moved to pastures new.I have had my moneys worth for them.
Need to get loads done this morning, I've got a pile of washing again cause the boys eventually did their bedroomsneed to pop some ironing next door, (a pile was done for me yesterday so when I came home there was lovely newly ironed clothes hanging up waiting for me to sort)
I have cleaned the kitchen washed floors, put tumble on, just waiting for floors to dry
I have tidied throws on settee
just need to hoover and wash floors and tidy dining room table
need to get to the post office and post parcels, plus get some shopping. Plus I still need to get a stand to my friend and some more of Nathan's cards.
I really don't think there is going to be enough hours in the dayBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

Nice one DT - Hope that things go well.
Fantasia - hope Leyla felling a bit better this morning and she will be able to convalesce (sp?) when she comes to her new home.
What a bargain Claire, enjoy planning what you are going to do with your lovely new bead stash.
Well, I am enjoying this retirement lark - thought I would miss work immediately but I am enjoying the break. Have booked a couple of short holidays this morning for later in the year and now going to play with making some cards.
Suspect that this will change as time goes on but having a lovely time for the moment.
So next stop, coffee and colouring in0 -
Morning All,
Fantasia: Good Luck with Leyla - I'm sure you'll all be very happy and she'll soon blossom.
Claire: Well done on your bargain! Happy beading. Where do you get you energy from?
TescoDeal Queen: You sound so happy and enjoying retirement. Enjoy and take the well earnt break.
I am so far having a productive morning. Have got my very large cream, floor lenght curtains in the machine and will shortly get them on the line. They were disgusting and I've been so sad watching for a decent day to get them washed!
Thanks to your support on hear my new confident self has just argued with Reliable collections (I tried yesterday and refused to be bullied) and have got nearly the result I wanted. They have agreed to me setting up a SO instead of a DD, given me the address to get a true credit agreement and statement of account. Haven't agreed about charges but can fight that battle later - have learnt to temporary quit whilst ahead!

Just popping for a minute at work - as I'm feeling sorry for myself today & need cheering up
Will pop on later tonight but y'all seem to having a great time - & I wanna see pictures of Leyla.
2 years today since mum killed herself......went up the hill this morning before work to leave her some flowers but I still feel strange today - sometimes it feels so long ago & so unreal but other times I run through the whole situation of finding her, phoning for help, police interviews as if it was just yesterday. I know time will make it easier - I'm just not very patient
Anyhow - sorry if i've depressed anyone - but the moral is - Enjoy your life now as you never know what's round the cornerDebts 07/12/2021

Ah Clootie, dont apologise to anybody. You feel the way you feel and it is good to share. How hard it must have been on you. I know how hard it is to lose a parent (two years next Tuesday since my Mum died) which is hard enough but your circumstances were so much tougher to deal with. Take time in dealing with it, if you need to talk to somebody and share then do, because worrying about upsetting other people will only make you bottle it up and that is not good. It is a beautifully sunny day here today and I hope that it is equally so there and that (despite the circumstances) the walk up the hill was in a day that can only be filled with hope for the future for you.
You are so right about living your life, you must remember that when you feel sad. Thank you for reminding me of that as I have spent the morning moaning about woe is me with so much to do. Now I have stopped and looked out of the window to take time to think about family. (((hugs)))
Claire - I have no idea if boxes smell but I guess if it got damp there is a possibility of that.
To the ladies washing curtains - not sad at all, nothing nicer than the smell of freshly aired curtains in a room when you put them back up.Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
