I love it when MG is planning something unthinkable, can't wait to hear what it is.Also can't wait to hear Cheri's life changing events although accept that we will have to wait until the time is right for sharing. Good luck to both of you and to Fantasia with her large new arrival.
Now this weekend started off rather bad for me but I think it will turn out for the best.
On Friday I got home from work to find that one of the windows of the workshop attached to the garage had blown in. It is 6ft by 5ft so left a massive hole which I could do nothing about in the dark so couldn't sleep that night listening to the wind and fearing that it would get in and blow the roof off.
The ex came round yesterday and boarded it up so it is safe again but it has turned my mind to something I have been avoiding. There are five of these huge windows in the workshop and they are all rotten which is why I keep looking at them and doing nothing as the cost of replacing them will be huge. I may get something from the insurance towards the one that blew in but I would be severely embarrassed if they wanted to send someone round to look at it. However I have an endowment that matures in March which I intended to use to pay off about a quarter of the mortgage but I think it could be possible to use some of this to get new windows for the place.
Inspired by that idea I spent yesterday clearing it out,as it is a complete junk hole at the moment but it could make quite a nice summer room/gardening room/workshop.

SHe said leyla has a beautiful temperment, but was a little shy, and that she is beautiful, was good in the car and did everything she was asked. This means she is in Northampton now, so vets tomorrow for speying. See how she recovers and travelling up here Thursday, all being well.

Great news Cheri and Fantasia - Nice to know things are going well. Can't wait to see Leyla.
Claire, I will pop over and take a peek at your pics.
I have had a lovely afternoon meeting up with the girls I used to share a room with in the Air Force. We hadn't seen each other since 1977  and caught up via FB recently. It was great to see them and we will be meeting up again. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Waiting with baited breath to hear about MGs outrageous ideas.0 -
