Keep it coming ladies, just reading down the page, and we are gathering momentum already. Positivity is starting to radiate.
A humungous 'well-done' to all of you who achieved success.
Souk I am sooooooooo jealous that you are getting to see We will Rock You.
I got tickets at Edin Playhouse from my son for Xmas, to see Footloose. Need to check out some reviews
Edit to say Thats fantastic Kittikins,
Don't you all just love the positive stuff0 -
I agree that the fizz on this site has waned. I think MG's energy inspired us all and we each mirrored that energy in our own posts so the whole became more than the sum of the parts (sorry - psychology degree - the gestalt but stuck with me!!)
We now need to find that energy within ourselves and get this board sparkling again and hopefully MG will pick up on our positivity and that will lift her.
I am in a bit less pain now and it won't be long till hubby sees the consultant again and hopefully the cast will come off his leg and he will be able to walk on two legs again. Also hoping my daughter will be discharged from hospital in a day or two so she and babe can get back home and they can get used to being a complete family with the new babe. So things are looking up in our house.
As soon as the rain stops I shall go outside and plant some primulae in the window box under the diningroom window that will give a bit of colour to the front of th house. When I've done that I will post some photos if I can work out how to do that. I've being having problems posting piccies on another of the discussion boards but it can't be that difficult!!!!
Sleep well everyone

Following on from Souk's news, I also have positive, sharing success and a new start - after a couple of years feeling unloved and unloveable, I've recently started dating a lovely man and am blissfully happy with a soppy grin on my face 99% of the timeHe is just what I ordered!! I'm hoping that the Universe will smooth out our path together for a long time...
Kitti - Wonderful news. Just keep on grinning;););););)

Love all the jumping and clapping, Fantasia. It would be quite good as a workout - help shed some of those pounds I've put on!
Also - please note - I've updated my signature and chosen a new word for 2011.

Yes for the first time in ages this thread has made me smile
New love, weightloss, new baby, spring flowers and positivity can't be a bad way to end the day.
Goodnight all and posting positive vibes for everyone tomorrow.

And I'm smiling, too: I just sold 5 things on Ebay. :T
It's not much compared to the number of things I need to get rid of, and I only earned about £20, but it's a start at decluttering my life and will give me some much-needed inspiration to keep on doing it!Please call me 'Pickle'

Evening/ morning all!
As usual I'm a bit late - but I agree, I've been looking for the spark too, it was all so exciting and in fact pushed me on to this path I am now on, I don't think I would have felt the same if I'd been reading this the last couple of weeks.
Loving all the good news though :T
Over here, my new career-path is providing at least enough work to keep the wolf from the door, which is a good start, and I'm much happier and hope to keep building things up, so all that potential has to be a good thing. And it is largely down to you guys, so thank you all! :T:T:T
Other positive highlights - the days are already longer, bulbs are starting to show their tips, I've managed to motivate myself to start painting the kitchen, and so far I'm doing quite well at my target of writing to one person per day (I was a hopeless failure at sending Xmas cards, so this is my way of making up for it). Just sorted through my box of seeds and some say they can be planted from February so in a couple of weeks I can get my hands dirty again -yay! Lets keep encouraging each other and we can do great things!
I wonder what happened to Mr Big and his challenges though? He guided us through working out what we wanted from our lives and how much we would have to earn to get it - now the crucial part is - how do we do that? :rotfl:0 -
Agree with all the above. This thread and MG's MDAM have changed my life and way of thinking.:j
Positive news: My son starts work today after a year of unemployment and sickness:j
I have asked my boss for a discussion as she's putting too much on me  not sure how positive that will be - it's positive for me that I've spoken up and encouraging me to look for a better job.
Got 2 applications to fill in:j
Off to work now but catch up later.

Just to let you all know I have had a lovely PM from MG (all sorted now, by the way MG) and I fully understand why she has not wanted to tackle her inbox. It seems some 'phantom posters' have sent her some really nasty personal emails and she has, I think, been dreading what she would read next. It's hard to believe there are people like that out there when this thread is so supportive.
Glad you got a reply and I hope others begin to get their replies too.
Like other posters have said these PM's can be reported but secondly you can also set to it to only receive PMs from your contact list - this would take a wee bit of time to set up (ie adding people to your contact list) but would probably stop people from worrying about openning pms.
This is the option you need to click on your CPYou may limit the receipt of private messages to just moderators and your contacts. Other members who attempt to send messages to you will be told that you have disabled private messaging. Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators

Okay - "good morning folk - here we go for another week!"
So, some positivity from me.....
It's raining! - this is good as it is washing my car (a real bonus as it is filthy and sat in the car park at work for the next 9 hours or so should help reduce the level of dirt on it!)
I received a cheque back from my previous gas and elec supplier! (was not expecting this after the cold months we have had!)
My copy of "The Shred" should arrive with me today.
All my washing is up-to-date!
Tonights dinner is cooked and in the fridge just waiting to be re-heated (caserole)!
I have pennies in my purse and diesel in my car - enough for the week!
So, lifes pretty ok! Hope everyone has a good day!
Keep smiling!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -

That is very true, MG and her energy made me feel inspired and I think its our turn to perhaps lead the way for a while.
I am going to do a quick food shop this morning (don't need much) and then get cracking on some house work in time for picking DD up from pre school. Hopefully then this afternoon whilst DD plays I can have a play myself and make some birthday cards or least work out some designs for birthday cards :T
Well done on the weightloss Souk, 8lbs is amazing :T
Kittikins - aw that's so sweet, am pleased you're so happy
susan - glad you're in less pain x
robsmum - well done to your DS :T:T:T
troglodyte - I am itching to get out in the garden and do some tidying up, enjoy some fresh air. My veggie patch needs some prep for the coming spring so need to dry weather to get out there. Need to work out what I am growing this year and where I am going to grow it
scottishlass - There's no pressure to come up with positive news just enjoy the positivity that we've got for now if it helps.
Have good days everyone, try and check in later.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
