    Af'noon all

It started to hail as I left work yesterday around half four, this soon turned to snow and it hasn't stopped much since! Reckon I've had a good eight inches (*insert your own smutty joke* ;)) and the sky promises more yet.

DH and I got to Mr T's so hopefully we've everything we need and I 've updated my online order for delivery next wednesday for christmas week. I had some audit work to do and when I phoned the company this morning they were not impressed by my unwillingness to go against the advice of police and not travel. Its a regular set of audits I do each month and it makes over £100 each month but although I feel dreadful at letting them down I value my life at a little more than that.

I need to get all the presents I have bought wrapped over the weekend when the kids have gone to bed. My 50 day challenge was to be ready for Christmas by Monday.....I still hope to make it :)

I passed my OU course but the exam let me down, I'm in Bristol anyway for the 3rd February now for a gig - is the universe telling me to go to MG's course? I think so. Just need cheap enough accomodation to be able to afford to stay now. Oh and a way to get OH's friend home from the gig without me driving....hmmm

  • What sort of cheap are we talking about here, and where do you want it located? (Bear in mind that standard accommodation in Bristol is REALLY expensive!)

We've just had an E-card from our vets, which I thought I'd share. All together now - Aaaaah!

I love her E-cards. I like to view them just to feel festive which is sadly lacking at the moment :o

Fantasia - well done to your stepson, glad he did you proud x

Claire - hope your knee is feeling better tomorrow x

hardly any snow here. Again. Why do I bother believing the weather reports when they change almost by the minute.

    Good Morning All
It's just snowed enough here to be pretty without being disruptive. I love Saturday mornings sitting in bed planning the day.
This morning I'm driving off to a local organic farm to buy the Christmas tree and then about 4 we're off to York for a bit of shopping and to pick up DD1 from the station, home for the holidays from Stirling. In between the day is mine to fill with cleaning, decorating, baking, wrapping as I choose. I'm very tempted to buy another portable gas fire though. I got one two weeks ago for £75 which is on in my bedroom at the moment and it makes such a difference.

All is white, clean and cold here as well. The snow came last night and covered very fast. There will be sledging later I think.

More of the white stuff here overnight  Dh tried getting to work but turned around and came back home, I've just got up, and he has done loads of washing, casserole in the oven and he has cleaned.

Going to try and walk into town later.
