NPM - you, Noah and the cat are gorgeous!:T:D(remember me if there's any invites going;):p:D)
I'm not a cat fan - dont go well with our racing pigeons but like you say JackieG - other people's cats are lovely to look at. I'm much more of a dog person.:)
I like to consider myself an animal fan. If it's got 4 legs and fur more than likely I am gonna love it Mind you the b*ggers make me sneeze as I am allergic to their fur  My nose has been tickling all day since Mia arrived and I've been sneezing too. Still it will calm down as long as I don't rub my eyes otherwise the itching :eek:Bitsy, Jaffa is so called because he is orange & seedless Mind you the b*ggers make me sneeze as I am allergic to their fur  My nose has been tickling all day since Mia arrived and I've been sneezing too. When we moved into this house we only had Jaffa but after being here for a couple of weeks we noticed Charlie hanging around in the garden (this was Jan 09) & a couple of times I came down to find him in the utility room having come in the dog flap. Strangely Jaffa was not at all bothered about him (although woe betide any other cat that tried it ) Any way I started to put food down for him although he would only eat outside because of the dogs & gradually got him to trust me enough to stroke him. His coat was awful, great big knotted lumps the size of my fist . We made him a little house under the tree on the patio where he always sat, & it took me till July to get all the knots out of his coat, little by little everyday until he'd had enough. Then I started moving his house nearer & nearer to the house & by the end of Sept he was living indoors :TWe found out from a neighbour that he had been rehomed when the previous tenants left but he obviously thought that this was his home. Unfortunately Charlie had a stroke a few months ago, went blind & lost the use of his back legs so sadly we had to have him put to sleep . There's a story behind Charlie & his coat. Aw that's such a nice story, just a shame you couldn't have had a bit longer with him xI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife Louise Brooks

:rotfl: ha yes I know it's only November. It was only 6 star shaped baubles and only because we don't have an Ikea here. It will be my first Xmas in my flat ( I was in sunny New Zealand last year!) and I'm having the family round and have realised I don't have any decorations at all! So it's a start

            Hi all,
Just getting in before midnight...didn't realise it was so late.
Had a stroll around local town this morning and met friend for coffee, then home to prepare to go to dinner with DD3 and her bf, his parents and sister....first time I had met them, he had his MA graduation to-day so it apparently seemed appropriate for both sets of parents to meet....OH couldn't be dragged away from the rugby so just me...lovely people and justifiably proud of their beloved (only) son....all he and DD3 need now are jobs, she will be redundant from 8th December and he is madly attending any interviews that come his way, something will no doubt turn up for them soon. Had a lovely dinner and was home before 10.30....got chatted up in a pub too, although the guy was a bit the worse for wear and obviously thought he knew me....
Boiler is fixed and I am !!!8364;150 poorer, but at least we have heat and a full oil tank so hopefully we will get through the worst of the winter without needing more, there is half a tree and some turf to keep the fires going too so might not be the financial nightmare last winter was to stay warm.
Only OS done today was to empty the dishwasher and light the wood burner in kitchen.....
Lovely cat photos....I think that I am probably more of a cat than dog person, although I love Kerry to bits so maybe as someone said I am an animal person.
NPM....I think that you are doing a wonderful job with Noah, so try not to worry about his future, you are doing your best which is all you can do.
Csarina....take things easy, there is only so much a person can do.
Half asleep so will wish you all a good sleep
