Just popped in for a quick nosy, bitsy & npm your cats are lovely, we've been thinking about a rescue cat as we lost our beloved Charlie earlier this year. I would have liked to do this is time for Xmas but as DP pointed out we have DD2, her hubby & the 3 terrors oops I meant DGK's here for 5 days over Xmas which maybe a bit overwhelming for any new additions. Still it gives me something to look forward to in the New Year. Anyway I thought I'd join in & post pictures.

We have two cats, The are bro and sis.
They are both black but the black is a long hair and the girl is a short hair. They are 5 years old now.
The girl loves the twins she lets them play with her.
Our male cat hates them. He wont even come into the house if they are downstairs. If they are in th elivving room and he has been trped up stairs then he wont come down to go outside orte eat and drink untill they are out of the way.:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0

My H was a confirmed cat hater but put up with our first cat Bluebell because the other option was one way trip to the vets (she was stressed and kept messing in my parents bed ).
The only time I've seen him cry is when he came home after having had take her to be put down.

            Evening All
It has been grey and cold all day and they are forecasting wintery showers for next week
Haven't been too OS today just did loads and loads of washing, had it on the airer, but DH and DS kept ining and outing so I gave up and put it in the TD.
Foot is still sore - I might pop to the G.P on Monday to get her to check it out.
DH took a lot of stuff that he didn't use on the shed back to Wickes today and got a refund of £50 :j
Have had a shower and am in my jammies waiting for Merlin to start, after that I will watch some more Fringe on DVD
I am with JackieO I have had enough of CIN and after seeing the "Highlights" on this morning's news I now know that I didn't miss much. Trouble is all these reality shows are cheap to make, so we have them shoved down our throats all the time - I also hate the Omnibuses of Corrie, Deadenders and Emmerdale at the weekends; I would rather watch a film (which I usually do out of my collection)
Well I am off to make a cuppa and plonk myself in front of the telly
Have good evenings xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Bitsy, Jaffa is so called because he is orange & seedless . There's a story behind Charlie & his coat. When we moved into this house we only had Jaffa but after being here for a couple of weeks we noticed Charlie hanging around in the garden (this was Jan 09) & a couple of times I came down to find him in the utility room having come in the dog flap. Strangely Jaffa was not at all bothered about him (although woe betide any other cat that tried it ) Any way I started to put food down for him although he would only eat outside because of the dogs & gradually got him to trust me enough to stroke him. His coat was awful, great big knotted lumps the size of my fist . We made him a little house under the tree on the patio where he always sat, & it took me till July to get all the knots out of his coat, little by little everyday until he'd had enough. Then I started moving his house nearer & nearer to the house & by the end of Sept he was living indoors :TWe found out from a neighbour that he had been rehomed when the previous tenants left but he obviously thought that this was his home. Unfortunately Charlie had a stroke a few months ago, went blind & lost the use of his back legs so sadly we had to have him put to sleep . There's a story behind Charlie & his coat.
