Right back....Morning all......(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Yesterday was a bad day, OH was complaining about his guts again......I made him phone the Dr who came out to see him, no way can he go into the surgery. Dr thinks he may have picked up a virus, blimey he only walked rounf Aldi on Thirsday, mind you who knows what is on the trolley handle!!!

However........we have to send a smaole to the lab Monday.....till then its a case of wait and see.....

Thursday night I set the mouse trap again, yesterday morning there was no sign of it at all, its gone into the ether..........I just hope there is nothing in it that will start rotting!!! if so we will have to take the kick board off the sink unit and grovel in the muck.....eeeuuukkkkkk.....

I set the secong trap last night and there was a little body in it this morning....its back down ready for tonight.

Nasty morning damp and dreich.....will be lighting the stove later.....I was so tired and fed up last night I took myself off to bed, which I could just sleep straight through, I am not getting any real quality sleep waking every couple of hours or so.......

Nowt on today, think its too wet for OH to go out, will see if it clears in a bit.......maybe back later.....

My hubby did the same with the mousetrap = it was set under the floor in utility room and we have been catching loads - have had about 7 in last few weeks and trap has gone - he has crawled under floor and still cannot see it - its either a huge mouse/rat or it has been caught with its tail! - hope it does not rot under the floor either! yukk

    Afternoon all

What an awful day, I don't think it has even got properly light :(. Am sat here on sofa with blankie & both the dogs for hot water bottles. :)Had a quick whip round bathroom & kitchen this morning, fed the fish & refilled the birdfeeders made a birdcake & some leek & potato soup & then my sister phoned & we were on the phone for over 2 hours  although we did take it in turns to ring each other after 59 mins :) it was great to speak to her as she lives out in the west hebrides & we live in Kent so not much getting together these last two years. Once Christmas is over I will start saving to go & visit as we never made it this year :(

I have read the thread but I'm blowed if I can remember much, so will just send hugs & spoons to all those in need, and warm wishes to everybody on this dank old day x

NPM - there is always hope for the future - I know as my own DS is coping with work and a relationship now - things we thought impossible during his childhood and a friends son diagnosed with autism and epilepsy who went to a special school is now living independantly with a young lady in their own home, something his Mum never thought would happen. :)

:T:T:T way to go Taplord :D

Do you want to see [STRIKE]my[/STRIKE] our new fur baby?

5191737369_8b299d79c4_m.jpg I've already had a lovely cuddle and fuss with her. She's a very small kitten but she's beautiful. She's obviously wary of the kids but she came and sat on my lap, had a wash and then settled down some good ole chin rub :T
We've called her Mia - when we first asked DS to name a potential cat he said Mia - on Milkshake they show the following animation and we sing it as Mia Mao http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWhX8pL5S0c&feature=related

Anyway as such I've done nothing today except spend a small fortune up pets at home :o and cuddle a cat :T I could get used to that :rotfl:

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Afternoon peeps

i didn`t get online yesterday so hope i`ve not missed much!

N9eav - Good to see you back, enjoy your new toys :D

Bitsy - Mia is absolutely gorgeous, well done you for giving her a lovely home.

I was busy all of yesterday at a funeral for an ex-workmate and friend with whom i`d lost touch, very sad. She was no age at all and a really lovely bubbly person. I spent the rest of the day and most of the night at the wake so i`ve been feeling rather fragile today :o

I managed to take Dad to the shops earlier but thats about all i`ve done, i`ve been lounging on the sofa watching carp on the telly. Feels weird doing this as i`m usually zooming around all over the place :D

Anyhow, i`m off to watch some more carp, have a good evening peeps.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p
