Best present you got when pregnant at Christmas?

I wasn't pregnant at Christmas, but if someone had given me a voucher to go get a facial / hair done / have a special pregnancy massage I think I'd have loved it.
There's a 100 years diary on sale at the moment, you could get it for the baby, but DD could start filling it in for him/her now...
A framed picture of her with her bump - I don't know how I managed it but I have no pics of me side-on with my bump, and I only ever had one child, so it is something to treasure.
A picker upper - can be bought from most toy shops, and is more of a novelty, but might come in handy if she drops her keys and is struggling to bend;)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I was pregnant at Christmas. My Mum bought me a new outfit, knowing that I wouldn't spend that amount of money for something that had a very short shelf life. I appreciated the thought.
Personally, I wouldn't want a spa voucher. I've been given two in the past and not used either, although I would use a nail voucher, haircut voucher or most other vouchers to be honest.
I'm equally fussy when it comes to toiletries. I only use a couple of brands and much as I've tried, I just can't appreciate new items as I used to in my youth, particularly if they're expensive! I can't help but think "I'd rather have had ..." I'm not proud to admit it, but it's the truth. Yet I still get ridiculously excited if someone buys me my favourite face cream, because I LOVE it. Anything from Clarins and I'm delighted.
I might have liked a foot massage though, in those late stages. And always chocolate. I would also have loved some homemade meals for the freezer, for those first couple of weeks. In fact, I think that would have been my most appreciated gift, if I'd have received it. Along these lines, a voucher for cookfood dot net would have gone down well.0 -
Thanks so much for these brilliant suggestions!0

I'm 41 weeks pregnant now and I would love a DVD box set of a series that I haven't seen to watch on maternity leave. You might need to ask her OH what she might like (the sort of thing I would like is The West Wing, 24, The Inbetweeners, Lie to Me).
I also think the camera idea is very good (although you would need to ask her OH in case they already have one) or lovely new pyjamas for her hospital bag for post birth (although a size bigger than her pre pregnancy size).
How are you today CL? Still soldiering on? Are they going to induce you if you go much longer?:o0 -
