Looks like I'm far from alone in abandoning Quidco - several others, like myself, who were once VERY loyal members have found them to be completely out for themselves. Perhaps the increasing voices of the new Quidco reality will impact on their attitude - but I doubt it!

Anyone had any joy with Vodafone yet?

My gf contacted them and they've come back saying that she can't get the cashback as she used a voucher code. At the time there was nothing on Topcashback to say that the two were mutually exclusive. (There is now - the terms and conditions have been updated since she placed her order). She's offered to send back the cheap free phone she got through the voucher code but this offer was rejected. Simply, as a consumer, she should have been made aware of the terms and conditions before she placed the order. So far Vodafone haven't answered the question as to who should have been responsible for the T+Cs being correct during the order process.

The stupid thing is that Vodafone seem to be trying to find reasons to avoid paying out £50. Much less than she would pay were she to stay with Vodafone. (Plus, I'm responsible for buying mobiles for the companies I work for. Guess who won't get the chance to tender when the current contract is up. If you can't be trusted with £50 why would you be trusted with much more than that?).

I just wanted to update. I started my contract with Vodafone on 2nd December. I got my quidco cashback (£90) paid into my bank account two weeks ago.
It makes no sense that some people are waiting for more than a year and yet I got mine in less than 3 months.

Yes. That's what p****s people off. If Quidco and Vodafone can't resolve this, there is something seriously amiss.

I'm not surprised that people are angry. I remember when I first read this thread thinking I wouldnt see my cashback till Xmas at the earliest.
    It seems very unfair.

I know it's six months later but thought a quick update would be worthwhile here. We did contact the Web Relations Team but no cashback was forthcoming. My other half has today requested her PAC code as the first stage of cancelling her Vodafone contract. Can't believe the customer service has been quite as bad as it has been!
  • Why not? There are hundreds of people complaining about them across various threads on here!

    Hi jmds,

Thanks for returning to the thread with an update albeit not with the news we'd like to hear.

As most cashback concerns relating to Vodafone are raised with me and as I don't recall handling this matter for you could I ask you to email us again via the contact information in our profile page here so we can take another look at this for you?

When sending your email just include a link to this thread and mark it for my attention and I'll come back to you as soon as I can.

    Kind regards,

    Lee
