    Vodafone Reps.

Further to previous post, Here is just one email I received from Quidco when I had been waiting over 7 months for a settlement
    Hi

We are currently experiencing delays with payment of Vodafone transactions due to their affiliate network being behind with their processing, and we are working hard with them to rectify the situation. Please be assured that we will continue to do so until the issue is resolved for all members affected by this delay.

In the meantime I would like to thank you for your patience.

    Kind regards,

    Adele

Now that says to me that it is your agents that are dragging their feet, unless Quidco CS are passing the buck. So, what is the real position - you did, after all come on this thread to help and not just to wash your hands of the problem- didn't you ?????

  • I have now stopped using Quidco. Apparently (according to them) I had earned more out of them than any other member. However, nowadays it is quite clear that they care absolutely nothing for their members, are only interested in feathering their own nest and allow rogue merchants to continue to make stunning offers that they then refuse to pay. I would recommend people find other cashback sites; they cannot be as bad as Quidco now is.

Thank you for responding, but if you look at post#9, you will see that, because I went to the affiliate in question, my claim was accelerated and has been paid.

My comments and question is a general rather than specifically relating to my transaction.

The point is that the intermediaries between you and Quidco/Topcash are being blamed for holding up settlements. One, DGM, went bust, but my claim was not through them yet took 8 months to resolve. Others are taking longer.

So, is the intermediary your agent or is it Quidco's? Whatever the situation, your company's reputation for honesty via cashback sites is taking a bashing, so it is in everyone's interests for this to be clarified, would you not agree?

I would not disagree with you on this one, although the OP suggests Topcash are as bad.. Quidco refuse to downgrade merchants from FAST when they patently are not and when money seems to be stuck with the intermediary company - if indeed it is - they don't seem to bother. And i still don't know why there is a 3rd party between Quidco and the merchants that handles the actual money and whether they are acting as Quidco's agent or the merchant's so that at what point does the merchant discharge their obligation???

I am bumping this thread as I am aware of at least 2 MSE members who are still waiting for their settlements for nearly a year and have had a pm from another who has just had their's settled after 14 months, but only after some direct intervention via some inside information re the intermediary's identity.

The link between Vodafone and Quidco/Topcash via an intermediary is clearly not working and we need to know just who employs these intermediaries - Quidco or Vodafone? Having a transaction stuck on "Validated" for a year is a disgrace.

Maybe the Vodafone Reps can answer this point now that they are back from Holiday.

As I posted recently, I now don't use Quidco. I notice that today they are promoting Vodafone's latest cashback - but merchants like Vodafone AND Quidco themselves are now totally untrustworthy and I will never trust any Quidco cashback offer again. Quidco do absolutely NOTHING when merchants don't pay, yet continue to promote them at regular intervals whilst fobbing their members off with totally disingenuous excuses. Believe it or not, I would rather now trust a CPW company than Quidco - and you know THAT is saying something.

Nothing useful to add to the discussion just yet but I am (was before I saw this thread!) anticipating cashback via Quidco from vodafone in the next couple of weeks.
It said it would take 2 months but after reading your posts I bet I won't have it by the end of this year.
I've subscribed to thread and will update.
I won't use Quidco again until I get this money and if I wait longer than 2 months I won't use them ever again.

    Hi Guys Dad,

In light of the contact you had with Quidco during the time that your claim was being processed I'll get this looked into as I'm not 100% certain what involvement, if any, we have with these transactions.

As soon as I have more information I'll come back to the thread.

Whilst I'm pleased that your transaction has now been completed could you either ask the other members who you're aware of who are still experiencing problems to email their details to webrelations@vodafone.com and mark it for my attention or point me in the direction of their threads and I'll reply there?

    Many thanks,

    Lee

It's Vodafones affiliate marketing which Quidco (and other cashback sites promote) - of course Vodafone have an involvemnent, it's they who chose the affiliate marketing route.
There seems a breakdown either with Vodafone, the Affiliate Network or the cashback site (Quidco) in this case and the promised and advertised cashback is being delayed to the members to have taken up the promoted offer.

Is it Vodafone not paying up??
Are Vodafone paying up but the Affiliate Network not passing the money on??
Or it it the cashback site holding on to the cashback offered??

To wait 12 months or more is a disgrace..........yet the offers are still being advertised/promoted.
