    Hi Lynsey and all,

I've done some digging in regard to this issue and would firstly to assure you that I've been assured that any delay with receiving cashback payments wouldn't have been caused by us.

However, as you'll appreciate, any delay could be caused by a number of factors and as such it isn't possible for us to comment further without having investigated specific cases.

For clarification, any customer who places an order via Quidco, or any other cashback website, should receive their cashback payment within three to four months from the date their order was placed.

In the event that this doesn't happen we would initially recommend contacting the website through which the order was placed to enquire as to the whereabouts of your payment and await a reply to this.

If after a month customers feel that you're no further forward with their query that they're welcome to email us at webrelations@vodafone.com marked for my attention.

Any customer who emails us should state their name, mobile number, order ID and date of order and we will follow this up on their behalf and provide an update once one is available.

    Kind regards,

    Lee

    Thanks for this.

Can you get on to your IT team to increase the size of your mailbox in preparation? ;)

Joking apart, you can see the extent of the Quidco problem here

Clearly not all of the posts refer to Vodafone, but your company isn't enhancing its reputation with the ongoing fiasco and maight want to look again at its affiliate network.

Isn't it funny? The merchants blame the cashback site, who blames the affiliate.... who (it seems) gets paid by the merchant yet doesn't pass it on to the cashback site... the merchant is quite happy, it seems - IF it's true, which I doubt; the cashback site is quite happy, for certain - because they don't give a stuff (they aren't out of pocket and can fob off their users for months or even years whilst encouraging even more users to go down exactly the same route).

Now, if I were a merchant I'd be pretty angry at any affiliate who was actually pocketing the money instead of passing on to the internet site which was actually working flat out to introduce more business to me. If I were the cashback site I'd stop using affiliates who stole legitimate cashback from its users. But no; they can both blame everyone else because neither the merchants nor the cashback sites give a damn about the people who actually provide their lifeblood - the customers.

Vodafone wore out its credibility long ago on numerous other dishonest dealings repeatedly listed on other threads over a substantial period of time by an army of its customers. Quidco has made its own attitude to its "members" very clear also - they can sit there and be fobbed off for a long time before they get so sick of the organisation that they leave.

So much on here from merchants is hype and PR; individual assistance when ALL else (and legitimate) methods of resolution have proved completely futile and the angry customer has brought their problem to public view.

The day that a merchant actually displays GENUINE and PROPER BASIC customer service will be a good day indeed. I detect virtually zero evidence of that 95% of the time - and this is no exception!

Many, many thanks Lee. Obviously the cashback is not getting paid "within 3 to 4 months" and something is amiss - some payments are taking a year!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sort of issue is affecting Vodafone and it's reputation and if the delay with cashback payments is not Vodafones fault, then Vodafone are unfairly being tarnished.

If it is the Affiliate Networks fault, why has it not been sorted??
Why are Vodafone paying an Affiliate Network to damage their image??
If it is the cashback sites problem, then why are Vodafone allowing these sites to tarnish Vodafones reputation??

Vodafone may well be using affiliate marketing to create business, but as long as these problems are on-going it will damage Vodafone's image.

BTW, Vodafone is by no way the only company with affiliate marketing issue...........................sadly.

Good luck if Vodafone do actually try and resolve this issue, they are a massive global company and should have the "clout" to sort this......................if wanted.

    Hi Guys Dad,

I'm confident our mailbox will be able to cope here. :)

Thanks for the link containing other cash back queries. I'll pop across there in a moment.

Whilst the situation doesn't look good rest assured that we're committed to helping our customers where we can and of course if we notice common occurrences with the case we're able to look into then we can then determine what steps need to be taken to make this process as smooth as possible.

    Hi mobilejunkie,

In acknowledgment of your comments and concerns here it's important for us to clarify that we're not here to apportion blame.

Although I acknowledge that this issue has been ongoing for some time I can assure everyone that we are here to help as much as we can and hopefully over the coming weeks and months some members will be able to return the forum to confirm that the concerns they contacted us about, whether this be cash back related or not, have been resolved.

    Hi Lynsey,

There's certainly a number of cases where the payment isn't reaching the customer as expected and hopefully where necessary those customers will contact us for further assistance.

As mentioned above, hopefully in the near future we can see members coming back to confirm that their payments have been received and at the same time establish further what caused the delays.

    Lets watch this space.

    Kind regards to all,

Whether that turns out to be the case or not - why do the few who find their way onto this site to vent their anger have to be the only ones who are privilaged (potentially) to get the money they should already have through the normal channels? Vodafone complaints on numerous subjects appear constantly on here and have done for the last 2-3 years at least. Whilst individual fire-fighting is better than nothing - as long as it is genuine and produces results - it's hardly an award for a company that doesn't do things properly in the first place!

    Hi mobilejunkie,

Apologies for the delay with returning to this thread.

I can appreciate where you're coming from and I hope that the few who seek assistance from sites such as MSE are those whose cases have fallen through the usual processes through which these queries are handled for whatever reason.

Whilst we never like to see instances of customers experiencing difficulties with us it's natural for those customers to seek the advice of others in order to gain guidance about what they should be doing next in order to get their concerns investigated.

Our aim is to resolve as many of these instances as possible as as I said last week hopefully we'll begin to see updates from customers who've contacted the Web Relations Team to confirm that their query has been concluded to their satisfaction.

    Best wishes,

    Lee

I eventually got my Vodafone/Quidco cashback at the end of December, but that took just over 13 months...
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail

    Hi Lee.

That's all very well (and better than nothing when it happens) BUT what would actually display a good organisation rather than a sieve leaking disatisfied customers in great volumes would be a huge reduction in the number of your aggrieved customers who end up on here having been treated so badly. For every one who does find their way onto this site, what's the multiplier for all those who didn't?

Took me 13 months to get the cashback offered when I took the deal, numerous Emails to quidco blamed Vodafone, who in turn wouldnt answer me directly as the said it was a quidco issue. After being redirected to a Vodafone official via a kind member on these forums it was escalated and recieved the cashback 2 weeks after it ' being chased up internally'

I had posted on the Vodafone official site over the last 13 months and various devs had looked at the post and even some said it was a Quidco problem not theirs ...

    http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Customer-Service/Quidco-Question/m-p/633331/highlight/false#M39221

After 12 months out of disgruntled fustration and inability to get a straight answer I cancelled My phone/Wifes/Sons/Daughters and went to another provider.
Bad service does in my case want me to avoid using the service provided. Using TCB now as well
