'Take the gloves off'? Why? We have no comeback either morally or legally.0 -
Well Mr Squidgy,
lets see how many people actually get them shall we?
all the proof I need..........
I've witnessed these ordering systems and its all too easy to return a "so called" despatch and then re order before being logged onto the stock levels.
piff paff !!!!!! as they say..........and theyre all gone.0 -
stenny wrote:I ordered it earlier @ £31 and got confirmation email.
Then when the error was fixed i also ordered one at £169, this way if i get an email stating out of stock at the £31 price tag but they then process the order of the full price one @ £169, then i'll have something to go against.
ehh ? they dont have to honour this if was a mistake, which it clearly was.stenny wrote:I can cancel the order at any time and also T&C state Any goods that are not required should be returned in their original condition within 14 days and we will refund you the cost of the goods in full.
and you will have to pay the return carriage.0 -
I feel the spirit of MSE is being lost in this thread and there is a lot of mud slinging occuring.
Shouldn't we all be coming together as a group and using the combined energies we have with email, phone calls, people we know etc to get the result we want?
No one is stupid for phoning, merely not savvy about the way it works.
We all know how clever the 'systems' are in these set ups and how apathetic the people that work there are.
As a new memeber I feel I have received a 'baptism of fire' but I can understand that these things can get peoples backs up and I bear no grudge.
I feel the good Lord is testing us with these challenges and that with the combined spirit and voices that we all possess that we can find a solution.
Shall we get this thread back on track? Yes.
Shall we strive to help each other? Yes.
So lets roll....0 -
Which bit part of their T & C's do you not understand
It was a misprice:rolleyes:

On Working Lunch earlier this week there was a feature on this sort of incident. The rule of thumb they gave was that if the misprice was an obvious one such as lets say for arguement, a Sony DVD recorder for £31
then they are under no obligation to honour the deal.

hold on, if you add to basket it shows up in the basket as £169
£31 on the item page but £169 in the basket0 -
If they state in email it's a mis-price then fair enough!
But if they then say in an email out of stock but then process the full price one, i'd then have something to go against!
Was gonna buy one anyway and hopefully they will accept the voucher code. But first, the most asked question:
Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"
A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."0
