Rebekka and topmum, I am new to this posting thing but to be mocked in my efforts to acheive a result does seem a little harsh. I can only assume that you were not lucky enough to get in on this deal in time.
Please keep it constructive not destructive.....

Monzini - Customer focussed world? With the call waiting times I have been subjected to? I think not, it's like one of those sci-fi movies where we are all just numbers. What about honouring the deal and admitting the mistake? I am sure those at La Redoute (and others) would be most interested in the information that you have.

When I (eventually) get through I will insist that they honour the order for my 4 DVD recorders otherwise I will make their name mud.

    4 !!!!!!

    Ah well.......good luck:rotfl:

Can anyone let me know, ive got a £250 limit on my account but the total comes to £341.45. I got an email to say the order is being processed, but it doesnt say i cant have them.

I have already rung the office of fair trading and spoke to someone who wasnt sure what they were talking about, am still none the wiser, but will be telling La Redoute where they can put all their special offer leaflets if they dont honour this.

I still want my free coat though, it looks quite nice.
  • Bargainoli - no wonder most of these deals dont come off!

If everyone orders four each - the systems are alerted to a sudden increase per customer. Thats when alarm bells start ringing and it stops others getting in on the honey soaked action!

I suggest next time you concentrate you effort on pressing the "1" key instead of ruining great deals like these for the rest of us

Im sorry but four is just too greedy

    Thanks for nothing:mad:

I did actually get on this deal, i came on too post this deal but it had already just been posted, but the day i get on my high horse and rip into companies on one (new) members say so is the day i stop trying to grab a bargain and leave mse, some you win some you lose, but unfortunately its usually the ones that phone them and hassle them and those that order in bulk that lose the bargains for us, we all knew it was a misprice but it doesnt stop us trying but most of us dont go off at the deep end when we dont get, and yes i did find it hilarious that a new member would post such utter tosh:rotfl:
  • :rotfl: but bargainoli is clearly joking! not so sure about others!;)

To all the STUPID people out there who rang up.

I'll will say this once more to you all

when there is a possible misprice NEVER EVER EVER ring up as you will alert the company to the mistake almost immediately!!!!!!!!

I ordered it earlier @ £31 and got confirmation email.

Then when the error was fixed i also ordered one at £169, this way if i get an email stating out of stock at the £31 price tag but they then process the order of the full price one @ £169, then i'll have something to go against.

I can cancel the order at any time and also T&C state Any goods that are not required should be returned in their original condition within 14 days and we will refund you the cost of the goods in full.

    :p
But first, the most asked question:

Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"

A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."

Exactly showman36 - a simple click of a button and the system can be alerted by staff!

    Guys,

I know how most of these things work (due to my brother designing/selling their order processing systems) and thought I'd register to have my say on this whole misprice situation.

If the company makes any decisions re processing stock, a lot of the orders are cancelled by staff and then redirected to their friends/family etc. Which is why we see so many of these products making their way onto Ebay.

Im afraid to say that most orders will be cancelled due to greedy staff members and any of those lucky enough to get one (though I doubt it) will be in the minority.

GOOD LUCK GUYS and lets really give em hell on this one!

    :money:

Got any proof? No, I thought not.
