My account doesn't even say that they have been ordered...I haven't had an email yet or letter cancelling but my account shows I haven't ordered them when I have a confirmation email when i first did???0

nothing on my account to say it was ordered either. I also never received a confirmation email, even though it accepted my payment details.pudding wrote:My account doesn't even say that they have been ordered...I haven't had an email yet or letter cancelling but my account shows I haven't ordered them when I have a confirmation email when i first did???0 -

It says in the "confirmation" letter that the contract is not formed until the item is despatched, not when the money is taken, so until the item has left their warehouse you don't have a leg to stand on.

TheFlyingGerbil is correct on this one. Also, it is an invitation to treat, not an offer to treat.Gone ... or have I?0 -

Fingers crossed
Just to confirm, I paid by visa delta card and the funds look to have been allocated from my barclays account.0 -

same here, funds seemed to have been allocated, this might be automatic though when you actually originally clicked to confirm payment :undecided0 -
I had the £34.45 your order is being processed confirmation email at the time of ordering, but when I log into my account today there is no record of the order. Expect they've just cancelled it and doubt they'll even make further contact. Some you win, some you lose.0

Sony dvd players are rubbish. Okay, I bought mine a few years ago. It was surround sound and it cost £250 but it stopped reading the discs after a couple of years - exactly the same problem as the Sony Ps2's. You can read about all the problems there are with Sony dvd's online. I used to think Sony was one of the best manufacturer's but not any more. Far happier with my cheaper dvd player and recorder.
If you don't get it you've probably had a lucky escape!0
