I had the £34.45 your order is being processed confirmation email at the time of ordering, but when I log into my account today there is no record of the order. Expect they've just cancelled it and doubt they'll even make further contact. Some you win, some you lose.

In which case, everybody should email them in a weeks time to chase up delivery of the order. If they don't have the courtesy to respond, then they should have their customer service department overloaded with enquiries.
  • I chased my dvd recorder asking when I can expect delivery and I have had an email saying that there is no trace of my order on their system and that I am more than welcome to reorder if I want to, I have resent them a copy of an email confirming my order with them when the order was placed:mad:
looks like this is going to be a no stock thing again, now there's a surprise

    see email below

    Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately, we have no trace of your order and apologise if this was an
    error.
Could you please re-submit your order in the normal way.
Could you please advise us of a contact telephone number to enable us to keep
    our records up to date.
    Kind regards

Looks like instead of e-mailing to apologise that it was a genuine mistake, the arrogant b@**ards have just deleted all the orders and are going to play dumb.

I could have had some respect for them if they had e-mailed everyone and apologised, they might have got a few moaners but it would have been the right thing to do.

As it is, they are scum for doing the above - well out of order!!!

well dispointing news i just got this email:mad:

Thank you for your recent order.
We have made a genuine mistake in offering the DVD player at a price of £31 in
    the Joyeux Noel collection.
While the DVD still offers good value for money we understand some customers
will feel disappointed and misled. This was never our intention. We are
contacting all those who attempted to place an order with us to apologise and
offer to re-order at the correct selling price of £169.
We are now working to strengthen our processes and checking mechanisms when
loading these offers onto our website to ensure this doesn't happen again.
We offer our sincerest apologies for our mistake and any inconvenience we may
have caused to those who placed an order with us.
    Kind regards

Me too. Nice of them to give us the opportunity to re-order at £169, don't you think?

    It was kind of inevitable...

Me too - at least they admitted the mistake, I didn't expect it to be honoured so I don't think any less of the company - got to give it a go though don't you ;)
