Hi All:wave:
Well mixed blessings today, had a really good decluttering weekend, kitchen done:T, understairs cupboard done:T, our bedroom almost finished, kids room . . . well that's another story. . . think there is the stock of a small ToysRus in there!!:rotfl::rotfl: But I will not be beaten!! Haven't actually Ebayed anything again this weekend but with the rooms decluttered and tidy I have found loads more to ebay over next couple of weeks. I only have one evening shift this week so should have some time free to sit down and list stuff.
Gammon was beautiful, DD who has hardly eaten all week kept asking for more, we had it with roasted whoopsied veg, sweet potato, spuds, carrots, onions and onion squash which we'd never had before (kept the seeds so we can grow some). Made my pea and ham soup today with the left overs so that was a really warming lunch.
The shopping trip is postsponed for a couple of weeks, probably just as well, hopefully have some more money by then and it will give me time to think about who I want to buy for and how much I can afford to spend on them.;)
My DD is better at last which means I will have to go to work tomorrow:( being home with her all week has been lovely, DH has been taking the boys to school and they have got the bus home so no school run just been snuggled up on the settee watching Harry Potter with my poorly girl. Made me realise how much I miss her when I am at work
Checked my Milk and More invoice and they have taken my £10 voucher off so got 5 x 400g cheddar for about 40p - great!!:j
Hope you have all had a good weekend, let me know wat you've been up to.

PS BLUEJEANS - selling on ebay is fairly simple (must me if I do it!) just make sure you list things accurately and post as promptly as possible and you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, me!! Finally listed 12 items on Ebay tonight:j:j
My aim is to list 10 items every night I am not working (only working Wednesday night this week) also got day off on Thursday so intend to crack on with the declutter/Ebay drive then.
Hopefully I will have all the ebaying listed by the weekend as on Saturday and Sunday I really need to finish stripping the bannisters and hand rail.
Nice cheap dinner tonight, not particularly healthy though and very lazy as I usually cook everything from scratch, we had toad in the whole but I cheated and used 2 packs of value batter mix and served it with baked beans and value mashed potato! Like I said VERY lazy but the kids and DH loved it:)
Now watching Sex in the City with a nice cuppa - lovely.
Hope you have all had a nice evening.

Hi 321,
Found your diary after seeing your posts on BlueJeans thread, so hope you don't mind if I pop in.
BlueJeans and I seem similar so we're building up a support group between us.

Hi 321
Well done on getting ebay items listed:T
I have got loads to list now now since DD brought 2 bag fulls of stuff round last night:eek:
I like to make sure everything is cleaned and ironed before i take pics so that is a major chore in itself (mind you if you look at what some people list they look like screwed up rags but they still manage to sell them!!! ).
I do like the idea of making money while i sleep though
Take care x0 -
Hi Robsmum:wave:, you are very welcome, the more the merrier!
Mum23 - glad you have loads to ebay now - hope you are getting a share of the profits if you are doing all of the work. I know what you mean about making sure everything looks nice, I won't sell anything I wouldn't be happy to receive myself, but some stuff is in terrible condition and some sellers don't even put pictures on, I would never buy something I couldn't see!
Sticking to my plan so far - listed 11 items tonight:T. Won't be listing tomorrow as I am working an evening shift , so I guess I will still be making money LOL! Checked my other items, have bids on 3 items, questions re postage overseas on 2 others and several watchers on items - all good:D
Very MSE dinner tonight, used 4 packs of Lloyd Grosman Risotto base (5p each from Big Brands for Less), added some of the left over gammon joint, half tin of value peas and half a tin of value sweetcorn, dried parsley and garlic and plenty of black pepper. Made 5 servings, cost pennies and was YUMMY:j
Bought 4 chicken and mushroom pies tonight in Morrisons from the hot chicken counter (the kids love them), reduced to 49p, so that's tea tomorrow night and gonna make a beef in beer stew with dumplings in the slow cooker for Thursday/Friday. Trying to be organised:rotfl::rotfl:
Have a good evening all

That all sounds yummy, can i come to yours for tea.
Well done on the ebaying, it can become a bit addictive, have a good shift at work.0 -
Hi everyone.
At work tonight.
Had 45 minutes between jobs so organised DS1 to cook tea for everyone, the reduced Morrisons chicken pies and a bag of oven chips - cordon bleu and only £1.50 to feed the 4 of them!:T
Looks like I will have to work tomorrow instead of having the day offas my colleague is sick, means I won't be able to ebay as planned but if I put the beef in beer in the sc in the morning and work a short day I will be able to list some things after picking the kids up from school:D. Must do at least 10 items again. Just checked my ebay account and I have got bids on 7 items and lots of watchers (9 on one item!). Hopefully will make a reasonable amount for Xmas.
PWPS - you're right I had forgotten how addictive Ebaying was, I tend to go in fits and starts with it, ebay like mad for a few weeks and then nothing for months:rotfl::rotfl:
Still haven't finished tidying the kids bedroom, I'm sure I will have another huge pile of ebaying to do when I have!
Finish work in a mo:j, hopefully DH will have cleaned up the kitchen, loaded the dishwasher and done the ironing by the time I get back. I have got him quite well trained:rotfl:.
Night all

Hiya 321,
wow you have amazing organizational skills. Good on the extra work, more money for the Christmas pot.
Plan for me tonight I will put at least one things on Ebay :rotfl:and have a try. I will have to work out the postage thing though.
My DH is a marvel round the house too, which i think is only right if both working.
Glad your DD is better :T nothing worse than your children been poorly and you cant do anything for them.
Well I am off to get ready for some extra work that has come my way......its in my diary.
Have a Fab dayDo I need this or just want it.

Hi Bluejeans,
Thanks, the theory is always good but the reality went out the window tonight!
I worked an extra shift, picked the kids up. Hadn't put the beef on this morning (woke up too late) so cooked that in sc tonight ready for tomorrow (I am working again tomorrow night). Made satay for tea (reduced chicken 39p with homemade satay sauce - peanut butter, sweet chilli sauce, chilli flakes and water) which we had with rice. Cooked cheese and fruit scones (12 of each) with DS2, using cheap scone mix from Big Brands for Less. GREAT - all on shedule and set to ebay after dinner BUT had dinner at 6 when DH got home and then fell aleep on the sofa until 9.30!!! In my defence I was up at 3am this morning feeling sick and didn't get back to sleep.:( BUT no ebaying done:mad:.
Have you managed to list anything yet?
