I was booked for a C section at 38 weeks as my DD2 wasn't supposed to survive a normal delivery.

When I got to 38 weeks they decided the longer her lungs had to mature the better so let me go to 40 weeks at 40 plus 3 she was born in a hospital corridoor after a ridiculously quick labour (very scary) but she was and is fine.

Two of my friends have had babies 6 weeks early and they have been absolutely fine.

It'll work out I'm sure of it.
    OPs so far £42,139
Original end date Nov 2037 (53) Current end date June 2024 (40) Aiming for 5 years to be Mf
    DD1 Oct 2008:), DD2 Jul 2010:), DD3 Aug 2013:)
When life is getting me down I try to remember to thank God for the blessings

yeah it will. I am ok about it all i think. I know baby a good size, I had a full course of steroids to mature lungs 9 days ago and what will be will be. I know a few 35 week babies and they have all been out within days no different to full term babies

  • All excitement with Pixie then! As long as you have the basics covered (which you have) you'll be fine. It isn't like you will be discharged after a few hours so you can send OH (Good luck) to get any other bits. My philosophy is that all the supermarkets are open 24 hours these days and sell everything so you can never be really stuck.

I am seriously slacking here. fair enough I can't actually 'do' anything but I could be doing something but i'm not.. so so lazy. Still trying to change my address with everyone, I have also forgotten my banking passwords so no idea how close to the bone I am with my treat account and I fancy quite a few things for the house already.

It may sound silly but the sellers included curtains etc with the sale and I feel I need to replace them and buy some little bits and bobs to make this seem like our home and not just a storage container for our furniture.

  • We still have curtains up on the landing nearly 7 years later. I know what you mean, but i really have a lot of patience in waiting till i know i am buying the right thing. Can't blame you for wanting to change some stuff.

Give yourself a bit longer and it will feel more like home.

Are the girls liking it there? I guess still too much snow for them to explore much.

They seem to like it a bit I think. we had 2 very very hyper days but the snow from 2 weeks ago froze to ice an now we had a fresh 3 inches or so and the garden is just unusable. It isn't really different from the flat in that way as we are playing indoors. Just more room.
